⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had a wonderful stay and would like to highlight two individuals in particular who made our vacation truly special. Nestor Perez from the entertainment team does an incredible job! He always manages to engage both guests and staff with his positive, cheerful personality, creating a great atmosphere. During his absence, we definitely noticed that the vibe within the entertainment team wasn't quite the same, so we were all the more delighted when he returned. You can immediately tell how much energy and joy he pours into his work. He is amazing!!! 🙌🏼 Mariceidy Urbaez, who works by the pool, was also absolutely fantastic! 🥰 When she was away, we clearly noticed that the level of service wasn't the same; since her return, the service has been perfect once again. She frequently checks in to make sure everything is okay and to see if we need anything else—always remaining incredibly friendly, attentive, and cheerful. Her performance and dedication are truly outstanding! ❤️ A huge thank you to Nestor and Mariceidy—you both do such a wonderful job and made our stay even more enjoyable! We hope to see you again on our next visit. 🌴☀️

I really want to highlight the kids club and in particular, Mireya and Alizon. They were so kind and inviting. Our kids loved them so much and the kid events are fun and different. This definitely made our stay a nicer experience because our kids had an opportunity to skip a pool day and spend time with them. I want to start by saying that what made our stay was the staff. They were kind, fun and they really go out of their way to make you feel at home. This is the reason why I'm rating it a 3. The resort itself fell short for us. We had a shower that had no privacy as one of the walls was glass and whoever was showering was exposing themselves to everyone in the room. The other issue we had was thay our shower would not drain properly and all of the water filled our bathroom with water. We had to use towels to control it because management and the front desk basically said deal with it or pay for an upgrade. The elevator in area 5 only worked one time during our stay and had not been repaired. You can see that they are still working on the building and constructing new space which adds to your experience. The service was great minus management. To be honest, we will visit DR again but not this resort. I'm noticing that if you're a family and going to resorts, you're invited to a welcoming breakfast or lunch. This is just a ploy go get you to purchase a package that offers exclusivity and while other resorts have been very aggressive about it, this one was a bit chill.

This was a severely disappointing resort experience to say the least. By far the worst beach resort and we travel to a different one every year. I stayed at this resort for 1 week in August with my daughter and every night we were woken by the sound of loud screaming from irate guests! The guests were arguing, swearing and fighting usually in Spanish or Italian, or playing loud music off their balcony, right until 3am in some cases. Everytime it happened, despite calling the front desk and numerous complaints from neighbors, the security and front desk did not show up or do anything about it. We could not get any sleep and I had to buy sleep medication from the main pharmacy just to help. When we reported it all they said is they know about the person but what does that mean? What are you actually doing about it? Nothing. The service was also subpar and nowhere near where it should be for a 5 star resort. Upon arrival, we were taken to a room without any towels and had to call the front desk right away. The whole place was so disorganized and like they were not prepared for our arrival. We got our room changed, but the noise outside at nights after 10-11pm was totally unbearable and unacceptable. The front desk staff here are also rude and dismissive. We went up the day before to ask about when our bus would leave with our tour operator and they did not care or even try to help. One arrogant guy just basically said they are not the tour operator and to ask them. It’s crazy to me because all their guests come through the tour operators. The sushi restaurant had no proper space, tables, or seating and was one row in front of the chef’s counter. Very unusual as sushi restaurants are usually one of the top draws in these places and tend to be a full restaurant. The other thing to really watch out for is the resort, rooms, balconies are not as glossy, shiny, or clean as the pictures portray. Despite being a new resort, you could see rust, mold, and mildew on everywhere from balconies and the exteriors of the buildings. I don’t think the balcony windows are ever cleaned. The elevator in our block, for example, was broken the entire week we were there, with no signs it was ever going to be fixed or any evidence they were trying to fix it.

The hotel itself was amazing. We were a party of 14 for 5 days. All the workers at the bars were amazing the only thing was the manager at the el cut restaurant. We had a terrible service I got a fly in my water and I asked my steak medium and got medium well. It took them 30 minutes to come get our orders and serve us water and on top of that saying that service is better when the tables are separate so we had to sit separate and the service was terrible. The other restaurants we went to were great the hibachi was delicious and so was the Mediterranean. Besides that the hotel was amazing.

We travelled as a family of 6 and had one regular room and one master suite and had an excellent vacation. The rooms were clean, well stocked, and housekeeping came regularly/ were very helpful. Any issues we had were addressed immediately from a simple request for extra duvets to our door breaking. When the door broke, maintenance was there in less than 10 minutes to fix it at 9:45pm. Another issue popped up with it that required the locking mechanisms to be totally replaced. It was done very quickly and addressed immediately. Some seaweed on the beach and the hotel does remove it as best as possible. The swimming was still nice with a large sand bar to hang out on - great for kids. If you are a beach person with kids I do caution you on this resort — the water slides at the pool are so much fun that the kids wanted to hang out there instead of the beach. Conversely, if you’re a pool person without kids — there is a pool on the other side of the sports bar with no water slides, but I did like how integrated the pool area was with the slides — not a full blown water park and adults could still enjoy themselves. Recommend water shoes for kids - cement bottom and pool deck can be rough on kids who run nonstop. The staff were helpful - special mention to Merfin at the pool bar, Wanda at the buffet, and ALL the entertainment staff - they were nonstop fun.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. We had a key malfunction and the staff was prompt with fixing the issue. The staff was friendly, helpful, and welcoming throughout my visit. The hotel was very family friendly and had many activities for children and adults of all ages. I also appreciated how quiet and relaxing the hotel was during the night. Overall, I had a great experience and would definitely recommend this hotel to others. I would be happy to stay here again! Glow: An extra shout out to the pool bartenders and the entertainment crew. Grow: The staff in the buffet need to improve their customer service and set a waiter to a particular section.

Maria from the entertainment team brought incredible energy and enthusiasm to every activity. Her friendly personality and ability to connect with guests created a fun and welcoming atmosphere throughout the resort. A special thank you as well to Yndha Jimenez, the beach waitress, for her outstanding service. She was always attentive, kind, and professional, making sure guests were comfortable and well taken care of. Her warm smile and dedication did not go unnoticed and truly enhanced the beach experience. Both Maria and Yndha are wonderful examples of excellent hospitality. Their hard work, positive attitudes, and commitment to guest satisfaction made a lasting impression. Thank you for helping create such memorable vacation moments! 🌴☀️✨👏
