The location is very close to the airport, and you will not hear no planes at all. There is a complimentary airport shuttle that runs on the hour starting from 9am. I used a service called B & J Travel - Premium Dominican Republic Transportation, that worked great for me being a solo traveler, Brian Guerra was exceptional. The grounds are very secure and clean. You are able to use the bikes and golf carts if needed. This is a very nice hotel/resort. The beachfront is clean, well maintained, and relaxing. They have several places to eat throughout the resort, even a cigar bar. They a play area on the right side back of the resort for the children. There is a gift shop right on the lobby level by the front desk area. The lobby bar is quaint with easy access. The staff is very respectful and kind especially the front desk. Rooms were just fine with mini fridge. The spa was my favorite thing to do and even did a pedicure. The price you pay is worth the money, with it being kid, family, couples, and or solo friendly. I would definitely recommend this location if you decide to to stay in Punta Cana.

We had a great experience at The Westin in Punta Cana. Our room was very clean and comfortable, with a perfect view of the ocean. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and provided excellent service throughout our stay. The only downside was the large amount of sargassum on the beach. The resort staff worked hard to keep the beach as clean as possible, but unfortunately, the amount of sargassum was simply overwhelming. I definitely can’t blame the resort for something caused by Mother Nature, and I truly appreciate the effort the staff put into managing the situation. Overall, we had a great experience and enjoyed our stay. The beautiful ocean view, clean accommodations, and wonderful staff made our trip memorable. We would definitely consider staying here again!

One of the things we appreciated most about our stay at the Westin Punta Cana was how friendly and helpful everyone was. The resort itself is beautiful and very well kept. Ramon was especially great. He was always happy to bring us drinks and food to the beach and made sure we were well looked after. Robinson from the security team was also very kind and welcoming. We also want to thank Vincente, who drove us safely around the resort and was always reliable and friendly. The service really made our stay enjoyable and we would be happy to visit again.

We haven't been to the Dominican Republic in over 12 years because last time we were there - we didn't have a good experience. This time - we completely changed our minds. It was a fantastic trip. The quality of the food here was excellent! Every dish was tasty and well priced. The rooms are spacious - a bit older but in good condition. The service is good - there is always room for improvement here - but everyone is extremely friendly and outgoing. They try to accommodate all your requests which is highly appreciated. The resort is amazing - all the activities available were fun for the kids. They got to hike in the woods to hidden lagoons and got to swim in them. They got to ride golf carts to and from some of the locales - but I truly do wish there was more for the kids to do. Kids club was limited - we certainly wish they had more days and activities for them. We also would have loved to see some kayaks and paddle boards included at the beach without having to pay for them because other similarly priced resorts include them.

Do not waste your money here. Everything at this resort is incredibly overpriced for what is, at best, a mediocre hotel. You’re provided only six bottles of water per day, and if you want water at a bar or restaurant, expect to pay for it. The rooms are nothing special and certainly don’t reflect the prices being charged. The service was one of the biggest disappointments. The staff operates on an entirely different level of “island time,” with virtually no sense of urgency. I’ve stayed at several places on the island, and the service here was noticeably worse. Brassa Steakhouse was another major disappointment—generic steakhouse quality at roughly four times the price. The spa may have been the biggest waste of money. The facility is just okay, the treatments are nothing memorable, and after paying premium prices, we waited nearly an hour just to get transportation back to the hotel. Overall, this property seems to be trying to position itself as a high-end resort while putting minimal effort into the service, amenities, and attention to detail required to actually deliver that experience. It falls far short of the standard I’ve experienced at other Westin properties. For the prices they charge, there are much better options in Punta Cana.

Outstanding experience overall. From the front desk attendant to Robinson the valet and all of the restaurant staff, we were well taken care of the entire stay. I would absolutely come back here again. The initial impression on arrival was stunning and it kept getting better as we walked through the property. If you like waking up to a warm breeze, stunning views of blue crystal clear water then this is the place for you.

We had a lovely stay at the Westin Punta Cana. The resort was beautiful, well maintained, and the staff were fantastic. Luis at breakfast was incredibly attentive and even cut up a fresh mango for us! Caspar, one of the chefs, always put us in a great mood with his friendly personality. Anthony at the beach was also wonderful and kept us supplied with drinks. Overall, a great hotel with excellent service. We would happily come back!

I was really excited to stay at this resort and actually chose it over staying where my son was staying because I wanted a peaceful, stress-free getaway. Unfortunately, from the moment I checked in, I’ve been quite disappointed with the customer service. What stands out the most is that I simply wanted to have a quiet breakfast in my room, and I was told I could not. I genuinely didn’t understand why, and no one was able to give me a clear explanation. I didn’t realize I needed permission to enjoy breakfast privately in my own room, especially when I intentionally structure my mornings around an early workout and meditation. This experience has been anything but the relaxing getaway I was hoping for. At this point, I’ll be checking out early and joining my son at his resort instead. It’s unfortunate because I was genuinely looking forward to staying here. A simple request, a reasonable explanation, and better customer service could have made a big difference.
