We wanted to stay in a nice resort by the sea and relax by the pool. But unfortunately, this Hilton was absolutely disappointing. The outside pool only opens at 10:00 AM. In the middle of summer it’s far too late. The pool is roped off on all sides with red safety tape and looks like a construction site. There is no shower, no toilet by the pool, no towel service provided, no water supply. This is highly inconvenient. Swimming in the outside pool was extremely uncomfortable because you couldn’t swim without your feet hitting the bottom. The depth of the outside pool is marked as 1.3 to 1.5 meters, but the actual water level is at least 40 cm lower than this. The beach is located quite far from the hotel and isn’t worth an effort. The room itself was in very poor condition – everything looked worn out, scratched, with things not working properly. Few positives: the food was good. The buffet offered a decent variety of dishes, and the serving hours were long and convenient, which we appreciated. Also, the reception staff were polite and always willing to help – but they are not the ones in charge of the terrible management.

The location of this Hilton is excellent, just a short walk from the beach. The hotel itself is impressive and very spacious. The rooms are large and come with a balcony and a bathtub, which is a great plus. There is also an indoor swimming pool and excellent facilities throughout the property. The breakfast buffet offers a huge selection of food and is one of the highlights of the stay. The only minor downside is that the rooms are starting to feel a little dated. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay and I would recommend this hotel. Also very good for kids!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at the Hilton Qingdao! The hotel itself is incredibly beautiful and grand—it literally looks like a castle, which sets a magical tone the moment you arrive.|As Diamond members, we were treated exceptionally well. We were so happy to receive a generous room upgrade to a beautiful suite! Because we stayed during the low season, the Executive Lounge benefits were seamlessly shifted to the main restaurant for the evening happy hour. This meant we got to experience the regular full dinner buffet, and we were blown away by both the massive variety and the fantastic quality of the food. It was a huge highlight for us.|The hotel is also excellent for families. They have a great kids' club, and on our first morning, we actually had the entire space completely to ourselves, which made it feel extra special for the children.|From the stunning architecture to the elite recognition, this was a fantastic experience. We highly recommend this property!

Superb in environment and hotel facilities; Been offer an free upgrade to higher floor Seaview room. Cleanliness was top note... Very relaxing and cozy resort hotel not far from Seaside. International buffet breakfast was great and you ca have all you wish. The executive lounge serve great afternoon tea and light dinner with satisfaction service and polite staff. Will definitely stay here again when come across Qingdao.

This is an odd hotel. Some elements are excellent and others are disappointing. Let me start with the good sides: the rooms are really comfortable and the hotel is well maintained, has a very good 24/7! fitness center and a rooftop terrace with a good view. Staff was also very friendly (but uninformed, see below). Then the downsides and odd parts. Although it describes itself as just next to the shore there is no beach here that any European tourist would want to use. It’s still crowded but messy, noisy and more like a fair than a beach to swim and enjoy the sun. Maybe to the pool then? Not really, because there was a DJ blasting 100 Db over the pool, despite (or maybe because of this) there not being a single soul. It was like the hotel was catering to 18 year olds on a beach party. In the bar, the sophisticated wine taps were not working so there was only one wine on offer. Staff also seemed uninformed about what the hotel had to offer. It just felt like the real estate was managed well but hotel management was absent. Overall this is more like a conference hotel, definitely not a beach or vacation hotel|Tip to the management: get rid of the DJ, instruct your staff, make sure your bars work well and place some inviting pool chairs at the pool.

The lobby is very big and quite luxurious the hot pot was amazing very yummy just have no rice, the room however was a bit disappointing, when I first entered the room it wasn’t as quite luxurious as the other hotel I stayed at but it was quite big, we stayed in the family room, the lights in wardrobe was broken because you wouldn’t be able to turn on and the extra mattress underneath the sofa that you can pull out was also broken because the left side was stuck. Location wise is good because it’s near the beer festival they have and was fun also.

This hotel resembles a palace with its grand entrance and especially gigantic rooms. Guests are made to feel like royalty. Exceptionally friendly and helpful reception. Pretty garden grounds. Hotel has its own inhouse restaurants and swimming pool facilities.
