Overall, I had a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The room was clean, well maintained, and comfortable, and the staff were generally friendly and professional. The hotel is conveniently located, and I appreciated the recognition of my elite status. The main area for improvement is communication regarding room upgrades and the benefits associated with them. The information provided through the reservation system and by the hotel should be consistent, especially concerning lounge access and other elite benefits. Clearer communication would make the overall experience much smoother. Despite this issue, I enjoyed my stay and would consider returning.

This was my first time visiting Qingdao, and I spent a lot of time choosing the right hotel. I finally decided on this place because it is very close to the shopping mall and May Fourth Square, and the location turned out to be perfect. Since I love taking half-body baths, I always make sure to book a room with a bathtub. I carefully checked the photos online and chose a Deluxe Room instead of a Superior Room. However, upon check-in, I was assigned a Superior Room that did not have a bathtub. As soon as I noticed the bathroom, I called the front desk to explain the situation. Manager Susie handled it so quickly and upgraded me to the junior suite room, resolving everything smoothly. I would like to express my sincere gratitude to her once again. I also want to thank Sherry and Betty for their incredibly kind and friendly service throughout my stay. If I ever visit Qingdao again, I will definitely stay here. Thank you for making my trip wonderful!

I spent my birthday by myself this year, but thanks to your kindness and thoughtful hospitality, I had a wonderful time during my stay at Holiday Inn. I was very pleased with my experience. The check‑in was quick, and the staff were friendly, professional, and helpful throughout my stay, which created a welcoming atmosphere from the start. My room was clean, comfortable, and quiet, with a good bed, reliable Wi‑Fi, and all the basic amenities I needed for both rest and work. The hotel is conveniently located for exploring Qingdao, with shops, restaurants, and public transport nearby. Breakfast offered a nice variety of Chinese and Western dishes, and everything was fresh and regularly refilled. Overall, everything went smoothly, and I would gladly stay here again and recommend this hotel to other travelers visiting Qingdao.

I first stayed at Holiday Inn Qingdao City Centre in 2011, and this year marks my 15th year returning. Over the years, I have stayed at many different hotels in Qingdao, but I always find myself coming back here. It has become much more than just a hotel—it truly feels like my home whenever I visit Qingdao. The location is one of its biggest advantages. Situated in the heart of the city, it offers easy access to shopping, restaurants, and major attractions. Whether traveling for business or leisure, it is always a convenient choice. The rooms are comfortable, well maintained, and the service has remained consistently professional and welcoming throughout the years. What makes this hotel truly special is the people. During my most recent stay, I accidentally left an envelope containing cash in my room after checking out. Housekeeper Ms. Lyu Mingting immediately reported it according to hotel procedures, kept it safe, and ensured it was returned to me. Her honesty, professionalism, and integrity left a lasting impression on me and reflect the high standards of the hotel. Over the past 15 years, I have watched both the hotel and the city continue to grow and improve. Every time I return, I feel the same sense of familiarity and comfort. That feeling is something no other hotel has been able to replace. Thank you to everyone at Holiday Inn Qingdao City Centre for making every stay feel like coming home. I look forward to returning for many more years to come.

Non-smoking room smelled like smoking room. Linens reeked of smoke smell. Bathroom is super dated with toilet seat that is mis-aligned. Does not be-fit a 5 stars rating hotel. Room cabinets were also dusty especially at the sides. Sofa and sofa pillow smelled really bad.

I had a great stay here, it is within walking distance with many main attractions and subway line 2. Also food and drinks are all accessible within walking distance. Room is spacious and clean, just might be dated compare to those that was rebuilt in 2025 or 2026. I ordered a cake for my partner’s birthday, it’s being fulfilled in a sweet way. Will come again next time when I visit Qingdao Seven and Katherine are being very friendly and helpful.

Special appreciation goes to Lisa and Susie, who were exceptionally patient and meticulous in assisting us with reservations for a live music lounge, ensuring everything was arranged smoothly and efficiently.
