Hi Edwin, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We are truly sorry to hear that your stay did not meet your expectations. The cleanliness and condition of your apartment are certainly not the standards we aim to provide, and we sincerely apologize for the disappointment this caused. Your comments regarding the stained carpet, damaged kitchen cupboards, sticky bathroom floor, and the hairs you found have been taken very seriously. We have shared your feedback with our housekeeping and maintenance teams so these issues can be addressed promptly. We are committed to maintaining our apartments to a much higher standard, and feedback like yours helps us identify where we need to improve. We genuinely value every guest who chooses to stay with us, and it is disappointing to know that we let you down on this occasion. Please know that your experience is not the one we want our guests to have. We would be truly grateful if you would consider giving us another opportunity in the future. We would love the chance to restore your confidence in us and provide you with the clean, comfortable, and welcoming experience that we strive to deliver to every guest. Thank you again for your honest feedback. We appreciate your support and hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back to Amity Queenstown.

Hi Janice, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We are sorry to hear that your stay did not meet your expectations. We would, however, like to clarify a few of the points mentioned in your review. We do acknowledge that we experienced some Wi-Fi issues in the past, and we apologise for the inconvenience this may have caused. However, approximately two months ago we upgraded our internet service to high-speed internet and also upgraded our rooms with Smart TVs to provide a more comfortable and convenient experience for our guests. We are very particular about the cleanliness of our rooms. Every room is cleaned and checked by our team before a guest arrives, and we take the condition of our rooms seriously. Daily servicing is also available; however, guests need to place the “Make My Room” sign outside their door so our housekeeping team knows that the room requires servicing. We are sorry if this was not clear during your stay. Regarding the amenities, hairdryers are provided in our rooms. In fact, the hairdryer in your room was attached to the wall in the bathroom. We are sorry if you were unable to locate it. We also provide irons and ironing boards, electric blankets, and room service. While we do not advertise coffee makers in the rooms, we do provide plunger coffee makers for guests to use. We understand your comments regarding reception. At busy times, there can occasionally be guests checking in or checking out, which may result in a short wait. We do also have an outdoor seating area where guests can wait comfortably if reception is busy. Regarding early arrivals, while we are happy to make arrangements for guests arriving before check-in time, early access to the room depends on availability and housekeeping. We are sorry if the waiting arrangements were not as comfortable as you expected. We are sorry that you experienced frustration during your stay. We genuinely wish you had brought these concerns to our attention while you were here, as we would have been very happy to assist and resolve the issues at the time. Our team is always available to help our guests wherever possible. Thank you again for your feedback, as it gives us an opportunity to clarify our services and continue improving the guest experience.

Hi Ella, Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We are truly sorry for the frustration and disappointment caused by the lack of communication regarding your enquiry. We sincerely apologize that your emails and phone call were not responded to in a timely manner. We completely understand how important it is to secure suitable wheelchair-accessible accommodation well in advance, and we recognize that our handling of your enquiry fell well short of the level of service you should have received. We are especially sorry that this resulted in you missing other accommodation options. Please know that it was never our intention to ignore your enquiries or make you feel that your booking was not important. Every guest is equally valued, and we deeply regret that our communication did not reflect this. We understand why you feel upset, and we take your comments very seriously. Your feedback has been shared with our management team so we can review our booking enquiry process and improve our response times to ensure this does not happen again. We are committed to providing respectful, timely, and inclusive service to all our guests. Once again, we sincerely apologize for your experience. We appreciate you bringing this to our attention and wish you all the best with your future travels. We hope that, despite this experience, you may consider giving us the opportunity to provide you with the level of service you deserved.
