Perfect location as it’s in the middle of the town and facing directly to Lake Whakatipu. The staffs are really helpful both during check in and check out. I’ve been able to leave my luggage before checking in and after checking out. The rooms are spacious and the beds are really comfortable. Daily housekeeping is also great. The view from the balcony is okay. Good option if you want a comfortable stay right in the middle of Queenstown.

My family had a wonderful stay at Crowne Plaza Queenstown. The hotel is beautifully clean and bright, whit comfortable beds. 👌 Perfectly located, making it an excellent base for exploring Queenstown. What truly made the experience special was the outstanding service from the staff. Everyone was friendly, welcoming and attentive throughout my stay. A special thank you to Edita and Jamaica from Concierge/Reception, who was exceptionally professional, helpful and caring. Augustina from Three Sixty Restaurant, who warm hospitality and attentive service made every visit a pleasure. I was also very pleased to see the hotel's support for local producers, including the lovely Antipodes🇳🇿 hand and body wash, shampoo, conditioner and lotion provided for guests. Thank you to the entire team for a memorable stay. I would happily recommend Crowne Plaza Queenstown and look forward to returning in the future.

Wonderful 7-Night Stay at Crowne Plaza Queenstown We recently enjoyed a fantastic 7-night stay at the Crowne Plaza Queenstown, and everything exceeded our expectations. The service was outstanding from start to finish. All staff were incredibly thoughtful, accommodating, and personable, which made our stay genuinely pleasant and memorable. The hotel itself was spotless and very well maintained. The restaurant deserves a special mention—the food was absolutely delicious every time. We also had a wonderful experience with the tour guide, whose recommendations were superb and really enhanced our trip. The location is unbeatable, right across the road from the lake and within easy walking distance to everything in town. It made getting around so convenient. Valet parking was another highlight—so handy, especially after long days of driving. It was efficient and hassle-free. Overall, we had the best stay and couldn’t have asked for more. We will definitely be coming back!

What we will remember most about our stay is not just the hotel itself, but the people who made us feel so welcome. Exceptional customer service can turn an ordinary trip into a memorable experience, and that's exactly what happened during our visit. We would like to give special recognition to Maryanne, the Front Desk Manager who assisted us during check-in on June 7, 2026. From the moment we arrived, she greeted us with warmth and kindness, making us feel valued as guests. Her friendly demeanor, professionalism, and willingness to help made the check-in process effortless and set a wonderful tone for the rest of our stay. We would also like to thank the entire hotel team. Every staff member we encountered was genuinely friendly, courteous, and eager to assist. Whether it was answering a question, offering help, or simply greeting us with a smile, their positive attitude made a lasting impression. It's often the little things that guests remember most, and the genuine care shown by the staff throughout our stay did not go unnoticed. Their dedication to providing outstanding service made us feel comfortable, appreciated, and truly at home. We are grateful for the hospitality we received and look forward to returning in the future.

This hotel was a perfect location for the town centre, waterfront & amazing view of the Remarkables. We moved to a lower floor so as not to have a connecting door. The view was still amazing. Also great if you’re with people where you do need room connecting as most rooms have this ability. There is a balcony and seating to have a coffee looking at the stunning views. The rooms were clean & spacious. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Valet parking is offered which we found useful. The price for this hotel particularly given the location is very reasonable. Would recommend.

The hotels location and staff is the highlight of the trip. The staff is amazing and always energetic and smiling. The location is bang opposite to the town, activities , shopping , restaurants and everything queenstown can offer. The rooms are great and even good for a family of 4 with 2 queen beds. The complimentary hot chocolate always available in the lobby is an amazing touch in winters. No complaints about anything except Breakfast is very limited for vegetarians. A sandwich or avocado toast on request would be great for vegetarians during breakfast. We asked for it but did not get one.

We had a wonderful stay at Crowne Plaza Queenstown. The hotel prepared a lovely surprise cake for us, which made our trip feel even more special. A special thank you to Emily at the front desk, who kindly helped us carry our luggage upstairs. The luggage storage service was also very convenient and made our day much easier. We really enjoyed our stay here and truly appreciated the warm and thoughtful service. Highly recommended!

Great location, friendly staff and a very clean room! What touched me the most was the birthday surprise they prepared for my son. Before our trip to New Zealand, I messaged the hotel asking if they could do something simple to make my son’s 6th birthday in Queenstown extra special for our little family getaway. Crowne Plaza exceeded my expectations. My son loved the sweet treats, balloons and thoughtful birthday card. I truly appreciated the kindness and effort from the staff. Thank you, Crowne Plaza Queenstown, you guys are amazing! ❤️✈️
