Exceptional Hospitality & Comfort in Queenstown! We had a wonderful stay at Heartland Hotel Queenstown. The staff were remarkably friendly and attentive throughout. We experienced a slight delay at check-in, but the team handled it brilliantly and compensated us for the wait. Even more impressive was their care when I fell unwell on our last day. It meant so much to me! Our room was lovely: spacious, spotless, and comfortable. The heater kept us perfectly warm, the shower had fantastic hot water pressure, the queen beds were really comfy and there was a generous supply of tea, coffee, and hot chocolate powder. After a day on the slopes, unwinding by the cozy fireplace with a glass of wine was absolute bliss. We also loved their great eco-incentive—you can earn a free drink token if you opt out of daily room servicing! The food throughout our stay was delicious, with the breakfast buffet being an absolute standout (and kids under 12 eating for free is a fantastic family bonus!). Highly recommended!

The room and amenities were okay overall, and the surrounding scenery was absolutely beautiful. However, the communication from the hotel could have been better. I emailed the hotel a day before arrival to ask about the sauna and slippers but unfortunately did not receive a reply. We also booked a twin room for two guests, yet only one pair of disposable slippers was provided. In addition, there was a security bond required at check-in, which was not clearly mentioned during the booking process. While this may be standard procedure, it would have been helpful to know in advance to avoid any confusion or stress upon arrival.

This was our second stay here, and once again it was a fantastic experience. The rooms are beautiful and offer amazing views, making it the perfect place to relax and unwind. The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming, always going above and beyond to make guests feel special. We stayed here to celebrate our anniversary, and the complimentary drinks were a thoughtful touch that made our stay even more memorable. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and will definitely be returning in the future. Highly recommended!

Great views from the hotel. We are in the top floor of heartland and I loved the a frame ceiling with the beams and mountains views. Full breakfast buffet (additional charge) was good. We also enjoyed room service for late evening meals. I recommend the calamari and the truffle fries! They came each day with fresh towels and made bed. After figuring out the remote for the heat/AC the room temp was nice. Good location with about 10 minute walk into the town BUT be ready to walk up the hill to get there. I suggest getting the BEE card from the Queenstown airport and taking the bus. It was very easy! Bus top is near the hotel entrance and just across the sheet and couple hundred feet down the hill. It was only $2.50 each ride and each person. Good stay without the crowds of the more in town areas down the hill.

I Booked 2 rooms and 1 for kids has no AC and the bathroom old and smelly. I come to the desk and ask why has no AC to other room but they answer me that's the one you booked. My room in 501 has AC and has nice view, my bathroom is new and clean but the other room for kids they put 1 small electric fan and the curtain in the balcony is mouldy. I came and complain at the reception been told only 3 hrs you feel the hot weather and midnight will be cool? this is not acceptable guys!!! I paid $ 2,589NZ for 3 nights only, BF not included!!! I can"t understand for this amount I paid one room poor to stay. kids complain and can't rest at mid day because the room is too hot and not comfortable to stay, the shower head is broken and the water sprinkle around the room. No choice they shower to my room, What for I need second room and paid if my kids stay at my room. In addition I ask to upgrade and pay how much the difference because kids need to move to comfortable room but they refuse us and been told no vacancy. But seriously in front of the hotel flushing VACANCY available. Reception not helpful to guest complain, and this is not totally good! Never and never come back again to this hotel, I would definitely not recommended this hotel to all my friends here in Sydney never. I emailed booking.com and requesting a partially refund to the second room.

The rooms at Heartland Hotel are very spacious and comfortable, and having a balcony is a nice touch. That said, the shower head has low water pressure, and the beds were extremely soft—neither of which were really to my taste. The hotel is conveniently located just a 5-minute drive from the town center, which makes it easy to get around. Parking is available but limited, on a first-come, first-served basis. Overall, a comfortable stay with a few minor drawbacks.

A lovely room with a perfect view down to the Lake framed by the mountains and beautiful trees. The room was comfortable, well presented and immaculately clean. We had a great sleep in the king size bed. It would have been handy to have a small microwave. Otherwise we were very happy with our stay thank you.

Fantastic walkable location but far enough away to not be noisy. Reception was friendly and easy check in. Room was great, cute little balcony, well lit bathroom, comfortable bed, good heating! Laundry was a bit expensive but that’s expected for a hotel. Adequate parking. Would stay here again for sure
