If I ever go to the main hubs this hotel is at I’m staying here again. Such a unique experience in the best way. It feels like you’re staying in a spaceship. The hot tub outside was such a perk. I stayed in Iceland and I was able to store some cheese there that I brought home from Italy because there is a communal kitchen/bar. The communal bathrooms were very clean and they came with waterfall shower heads and a Dyson hair dryer.

It’s probably one of the best hostels I’ve ever stayed at. The room is quiet and clean, and I especially loved the ambient lighting — it creates such a cozy atmosphere and gives the space different moods. The self check-in and check-out process was super smooth, the everyda host was very helpful, and the location is perfect in the city center, with most of the main sights easily reachable on foot.

Absolutely loved staying here for a few nights in the city! Really clean and loved the shared hangout space. The personalized lights in the hubs are a fun touch. Bathrooms were always clean so I didn’t even mind sharing. Showers were nice and big! A great location too so can’t beat this! A fun way to stay in a hostel/capsule hotel!

Response from the property

We are especially happy that the bathrooms and showers left such a positive impression, as our team works hard to keep them spotless throughout the day. We are also glad you embraced the CityHub concept and had a great time exploring Reykjavik from our central location. We would love to welcome you back whenever your travels bring you to Iceland again. Best, CityHost- Iri

This was a bit of a mixed bag (but almost all good). On the one hand, the staff, service, amenities, and available breakfast were amazing. The staff really went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable, and even let me use their fridge for my medication, which I really appreciated. I also felt like when I asked them questions about themselves, they really started to open up and we had a great time getting to know one another! I love getting to know people, so that was truly a great experience. The con I have is the room itself. I loved the aesthetic and how clean the room was, but the pictures made them seem a lot larger than they actually are. I'm a bit claustrophobic, so it was a bit of a surprise and it took some getting used to. By the second night it was much better. Mostly because the bathrooms are amazing and you have the option to use the hot tub until 10 PM, so outside of your room there is plenty of room to spread out. If not for the size/layout of the room I would have given this place 5 stars, because the staff and amenities are just amazing. If you're not claustrophobic and you don't mind feeling a tiny bit crunched while packing your luggage, this is a great place to stay!

This was a last minute booking for us because our flight schedule changed. We started our trip here and I booked it because it was a lower cost than most in town. I wasn't sure if I would like the capsules or the dorm style facilities but it was perfect. Such a fun place to stay. The bathrooms were clean and nice and never too busy -- the toilets and showers all have full walls around each one so it still feels private. Fun, funky decor. The kitchen and dining area was pretty neat -- love the concept of the self service. Breakfast was like a small take-away bag with pastry, apples and yogurt -- good enough for heading out and starting the day. Our capsule was cozy and somehow totally soundproof -- I don't know how it was so quiet. I loved the lighting options. The staff were also amazing and even let us check in hours earlier which was absolutely appreciated after a long flight so we could rest before starting our adventures. The location is amazing for walking around and enjoying the sites before we picked up our rental car. I loved this place so much I almost switched my end of trip hotels for this again -- the only reason I didn't is because it's too small for organizing and packing all our bags back up before our flight home. I'll absolutely stay here again if I'm in Reykjavik!

This hostel is not a hostel.Rather an upmarket hotel. Its in a great location. Very clean with modern amenities. It looses 1 point for rooms as those in a bottom level capsule room may have difficulties in getting up off the floor. As a suggestion perhaps some form of grab rail would be great. Staff are very knowledgeable and very helpful. They tackle and fix any problems that may arise. Even go the extra mile to repair suitcase. Thank you to all the staff for making my stay very enjoyable.

The location was wonderful in downtown Reykjavik. It had super friendly helpful staff, as well as automated check-in kiosks that helped you to check in easily. They have wristbands to enter the hotel rooms, as well as for luggage storage before or after your stay. The rooms do not have windows, which I consider a plus since it can stay light late in Iceland. The pricing was good in this expensive city, so I would definitely recommend it!

Great, no complaints, will probably stay here again if it's still here on my next Iceland trip and the price of it doesn't soar. Personally, the room didn't feel too claustrophobic, even if it objectively is compact. The moody lightning was fun too. Bathrooms were nice and clean. Receptionist was helpful. Much better than the capsule hotel I stayed at in Akureyri in my experience. 👍🏻
