I have stayed at this hotel chain in Spain, in the city of Valladolid. This was the last night of our HONEYMOON, and we decided to book a suite to make it special. Unfortunately, the experience turned out to be very disappointing. When we entered the room, there was such a strong chemical smell (from cleaning products) that it was honestly impossible to stay there comfortably. On top of that, the bathroom still had visible dirt, which was quite shocking for a suite. We went down to reception and explained the situation. The staff didn’t deny the problem, but since there was no cleaning staff available, the only option offered was to move us to a standard room. So in the end, we paid for a suite but had to spend the night in a regular room. Later, the hotel offered breakfast as compensation, but that doesn’t really match the situation or the downgrade we experienced. It’s especially sad because it was supposed to be a memorable last night of our honeymoon, and instead it left a negative impression. I hope the hotel takes more care with room preparation and handles situations like this differently in the future.

We stayed 1 night while visiting Salamanca. Paid parking is available. Nice walk across the bridge to the Cathedral and Old Town. Staff very nice! We weren’t sure about the neighborhood, but it was fine. Room was comfortable and clean. Pool area, but we didn’t use it. Relaxing drinks at the bar. The staff could see we were hot from walking, so they brought over cold water and snacks! Thank you, very thoughtful!

Great location being next to the Roman Bridge, so a 15-20 mins walk into the old town. It's a climb once across the bridge but other than that it's manageable for all. The room was fine (RM 208) although no USB charging points. Shower over bath was good, hot water and strong jet. There is a pool and outside area but that was being refurbished. We found free on street parking outside the hotel but there is paid for parking somewhere. Perfect for a couple of nights to explore Salamanca.

Lovely hotel in a fantastic location, yes some of the décor might be a little dated but that adds to the charm, the staff were friendly and very helpful, and the secure car park for 11 euros was great as i was on a motorcycle, I stayed in air BNB 2 months ago which cost 300 euros a night and was not a touch on this hotel. So excellent value for money and the breakfast was typical for this region.

This hotel is wonderful and budget friendly. We were driving so were looking for somewhere easy to get to, that had parking and close enough to the historic district to walk to. |This hotel ticks all the boxes AND we had a lovely, big, comfortable, quiet old fashioned room. |We parked on the street but had we needed it there is secure hotel parking for a small fee. |The staff are charming and there’s a nice little bar for a nightcap or coffee. Breakfast was perfectly good and set us up for the day.

The hotel is located near the bridge to the old town, easy walk and stunning views. Parking for 11 euros is secure underground or free on the nearby street. We had a terrace and good view of the cathedral, the double bed was two singles pushed together but comfortable, though the pillows weren't great. Staff very helpful, room clean, good shower, all in all solid performance.
