Response from the property

Dear Francis, Thank you for considering us as your accommodation option in Salamanca. We regret that your experience did not meet your expectations. As an urban hotel located in the heart of Salamanca, we comply with Spanish soundproofing requirements, although on occasion the noise from the surrounding area can be disturbing for some guests. We strive to provide a peaceful environment and apologize for your discomfort. We also offer interactive tools available at check-in that allow guests to communicate their preferences and concerns without having to do so in person. These help us understand needs and make adjustments during the stay, and we regret that this did not improve your visit. Your comments about the room and breakfast are very valuable, and we are pleased that you found the bed so comfortable. Our team is dedicated to maintaining our standards in line with the needs of our guests, and your feedback contributes to our ongoing focus on guest satisfaction. We hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back and offer you a stay more in line with our commitment to service excellence. Response from the property

Dear Mark, It was a pleasure to welcome you during your stay with us and your good rating regarding our guest service. We are sorry that on this occasion it was not a totally satisfactory experience due to the service supplement you indicated. The current cost of the dog per day is €12 and the additional cleaning fee of 25 euros applies only once per stay, not per day, as well as offering you a complimentary kit for your dog. We would like to point out that the cleaning of the rooms designated for this service follows a special protocol to ensure that it does not cause any inconvenience to other guests in the future. We would like to clarify that the additional cost for the ‘Dog Friendly’ service (we only admit a dog) is clearly specified in your booking platform under the section ‘To take into account, as well as in the booking confirmation messages if you confirm this service and in the conditions document that you sign when you arrive at our facilities, as well as we advice about our parking service subject to availability on arrival. We understand that it can be frustrating to not have this service available when some service is already full, as was the case in this instance. We regret any confusion in not seeing this information in advance. We regret that you do not agree with these internal procedures. We do not rule out the possibility of welcoming you again and we are committed to meet 100% all your expectations on this new occasion.
