I had a fantastic stay at Dorint City hotel. Check in was very fast and gave us a lot of lovely city information including free public transportation tickets. The room we had was very spacious. The hotel is located 20 minutes from the old city or a 10 min bus ride.

I am very disappointed with the service at this hotel. From the beginning, the service has been poor, and our luggage was not brought to our room, which caused a lot of inconvenience. I am especially disappointed with the reception staff. They were not helpful or welcoming, and they did not handle our concerns professionally. When we asked for assistance, we did not receive the level of attention or support we expected from a hotel of this standard. The reception staff’s attitude and lack of assistance made the experience even more frustrating. We expected professional, respectful, and attentive service, but unfortunately, this was not the case. Overall, the poor service, the issue with our luggage, and the unhelpful reception staff made our stay very unpleasant. Considering the price we paid, we expected a much higher level of service and professionalism.

Amazing hotel. The staff is very nice and accommodating, rooms were spacious and clean with large comfortable beds. Everything we needed was available to us. Would highly recommend.

Not the best location, but the service and quality balance the location. Room was excellent, cosy spacious clean and with natural light coming in. Reception was polite and friendly and was kind enough to provide some guidelines for the city and sites to visit. Breakfast was very good with good options and very tasty. Sure recommend the hotel

Just left this hotel and I honestly feel compelled to warn others about how bad our experience was, it was beyond disappointing. From the moment we arrived, problems started piling up. We had nine heavy suitcases, and there was absolutely no staff available to help with luggage. For a so called 4-star hotel, this already felt shockingly unprofessional. On top of that, there is no room service at all, which is completely unacceptable for this category of hotel. The room itself was uncomfortably hot because the air conditioning barely worked, making it extremely difficult to rest or sleep properly. There was no escape from the constant disruption. The elevator then broke down on the second day and stayed out of service for the next four days of our stay. This was not a minor inconvenience it meant constantly climbing stairs in a hotel that already offered very little comfort or support. The common areas were just as bad. Instead of properly cooling the corridors, the hotel simply left windows open even during heavy rain.The result was a suffocating mix of heat and humidity that made walking through the hotel unpleasant every time. Housekeeping was also completely below any acceptable standard. Used napkins were left behind, the room was not properly cleaned, and basic expectations were ignored. When we asked for the complimentary bottled water that is standard in most 4-star hotels, we were told we had to pay for it which is honestly ridiculous. Breakfast was another low point.The food quality was poor, unappetizing, and something we quickly stopped looking forward to altogether. Overall, this hotel falls far below what anyone would reasonably expect from a 4-star property. The entire stay was frustrating, uncomfortable, and poorly managed from start to finish. We were so fed up that we checked out early and moved to another hotel which immediately showed us how bad this place really was in comparison. I would strongly advise against staying here. There are many better options in Salzburg that offer the bare minimum.

A decent hotel about 20mins walk to central Salzburg. The staff were pretty reasonable throughout, although check out took longer than it needed to as the receptionist wanted to chat with everyone. The room was a very good size with a comfortable bed and decent water pressure. The temperature was very warm as the air conditioning was extremely weak. We skipped breakfast as it was €23 per person. Parking was €19 per night. The garage is okay but spaces quite tight. All in all a pleasant stay but let down on small areas.

Planning a trip in the summer? Airconditioning is very poor in the rooms. The room was 26 degrees and did not go down. I asked reception if they could do anything about it. Unfortunately the system is from the 1990’s. A good climate system should be on the top priorities of investment

It’s slightly away from train station but peaceful. Breakfast is very good and room size is big. Reception staff are polite and helpful. Advantage in Salzburg is they provide free local transport pass, city bus is just outside the hotel.
