This was an outstanding hotel and one of the best places we stayed during our trip. The rooms were spacious, beautifully appointed, and extremely comfortable. The bed was excellent, the air conditioning worked well, and the rooms were impressively soundproof—we barely heard any noise from outside or neighboring rooms. The service was exceptional from start to finish. Every staff member we interacted with was friendly, professional, and attentive, making the entire stay feel like a true luxury experience. One of the highlights was the hotel’s restaurant. The food was excellent, and the panoramic views over Salzburg—especially at night—were absolutely stunning. The location is another major advantage. While it’s not on the Old Town side near the fortress, it’s only a short walk across the river, making it easy to explore all of Salzburg’s main attractions while still enjoying a quieter setting. It’s hard to ask for a better location. This hotel is definitely on the more expensive side, but you’re paying for exceptional accommodations, outstanding service, and a prime location. For us, it was worth every penny. If you’re looking for a luxury stay in Salzburg, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this hotel.

We stayed at the hotel for 3 nights with our family and had a great experience. The hotel is beautiful, the rooms are comfortable, and the location is perfect—close to both the city center and the train station. The food was delicious, and the service was excellent. Special thanks to Ali Ebrahim for his outstanding hospitality. He provided us with drinks and water, took beautiful family photos for us, and was very kind to our children. After our meal, he even gave our three kids coloring papers, which they loved. Thank you for making our stay even more memorable. We highly recommend this hotel!

We had the most wonderful time staying at IMLAUER Hotel Pitter during our holiday in Salzburg! The location is truly unbeatable, just a short and pleasant stroll to Mirabell Palace and the historic old town. Our room was wonderfully spacious and comfortable, featuring a plush double bed and a lovely outlook over the city rooftops. Everything felt so thoughtfully prepared for our arrival. Dining at the hotel venues was another highlight of our trip; the meals were fresh and flavorful, with plenty of delightful vegetarian options that made dining in so easy. The staff looked after us with such warm, attentive service from the very beginning to the end. It was an extremely perfect base for our Austrian getaway, and we will definitely return to this fantastick hotel the next time we visit Salzburg!

Fantastic stay! The service was truly excellent and very professional. Our room was beautiful, very spacious, and perfect for a family. It was cleaned every day with great attention to detail. The reception staff were also exceptional: always kind, helpful, and attentive to our needs. Sometimes we didn’t understand something very well, but they never lost patience and were always happy to explain everything to us, even several times. They also gave us some really useful tips and recommendations for exploring and enjoying the city. The hotel’s location is fantastic: the city centre is only about a 13-minute walk away. And if you don’t feel like walking all the way into the centre, the hotel also has a bar and two restaurants one with a lovely terrace and another offering more traditional Austrian cuisine. Another great advantage is the parking. It is extremely convenient and located very close to the hotel, making it very easy to access. Overall, it was a fantastic stay! We hope to come back soon and would absolutely recommend this hotel. 😊

Although the hotel’s location is very advantageous, this alone does not compensate for the overall shortcomings of the stay. The rooms are extremely small, and the bathroom is clearly inadequate in terms of both design and functionality. The level of comfort and service provided falls well below what is expected from a five-star property. Overall, the hotel fails significantly in terms of value for money and can be considered, at best, comparable to a three-star hotel. It does not justify the price paid. No

Spent 3 night here in July 2026. The rooms were very nice. The staff were very attentive and helpful. The room was very comfortable and the hotel is fairly centrally located. Had a great dinner at the sky bar / restaurant. Great service and the food was excellent. Had a disappointing experience with the breakfast though. The buffet was really so-so and the price per person was a ridiculous 37 Euros. DONT GET BREAKSFAST HERE. What the heck Imlaeur? This hotel / chain seems very focussed on everything being internet based. Lots of reminders to check in early electronically, if you ask them a question by email (which I did) they ask you to check in and give your birthday/ name / email before you can see their response(?). This hotel also got hacked a month or so ago and let us know by email that our information had been compromised! Whatever corporate entity / group is running this system needs to rethink how they handle their electronic customer interactions. Tone it down and treat your customers information with more respect. Wont be staying at an Imlaeur again.

Our stay at the IMLAUER Hotel was a wonderful experience from start to finish, and the staff truly made it unforgettable. From the very moment we arrived, everyone was incredibly kind, welcoming, and eager to help. They provided us with fantastic information to help us navigate Salzburg and were so knowledgeable about both the hotel details and the local area. The service here is truly exceptional. On top of the amazing hospitality, the hotel itself is beautiful, very comfortable, and spotlessly clean. It is also in the absolute perfect location for exploring everything the city has to offer. We had a fantastic time, would definitely stay here again, and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Salzburg!

We reserved a king room and it was really comfortable. The hotel was extremely clean, and the reception staff were welcoming, kind, and very helpful throughout our stay. One of the nicest surprises was that they placed a birthday cake in the room for me, which was such a thoughtful and lovely touch. The location is also great, there are many halal restaurants within walking distance, as well as many attractive places and sightseeing spots nearby that you can easily reach on foot. One important note for Muslim travelers: some rooms have a bidet, but not all of them, so make sure to request one in advance if this is important for you. I didn’t try the breakfast, so I can’t rate it, but overall we had a very pleasant stay and would definitely recommend it.
