My stay at Hotel Nikko San Francisco was outstanding from start to finish. The hotel exceeded my expectations in every way, especially when it came to service, cleanliness, and comfort. A special thank you goes to Kat at the front desk, who truly made our experience memorable. From the moment we arrived, Kat was warm, professional, and genuinely attentive. She went above and beyond to ensure we felt welcome and had everything we needed, making check-in seamless and setting the tone for a wonderful stay. The hotel itself was impeccably clean. Every area, from the lobby to the guest room, was spotless and exceptionally well-maintained. It's clear that the staff takes great pride in providing a pristine environment for guests. The room was incredibly comfortable, featuring a cozy bed, quality linens, and thoughtful amenities that made it easy to relax after a day of exploring the city. The quiet atmosphere and well-appointed accommodations provided a restful night's sleep each evening. Hotel Nikko combines excellent hospitality with beautiful accommodations and outstanding attention to detail. Thanks again to Kat and the entire team for making our visit so enjoyable. I would gladly stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting San Francisco.

I highly recommend Hotel Nikko, especially for its excellent location close to the city center, with easy access to public transportation, shops, and other amenities. The wellness area deserves special recognition — it is very well designed and includes a swimming pool, hot tub, cold plunge pool, and separate saunas. There is also a spacious and well-equipped gym, which is a big plus. Overall, the standard of service is very high and the entire stay was a great experience. Highly recommended!

This hotel served as my first ever overnight SF stay. My girlfriend and I enjoyed the stay overall- rooms were nice/tidy. We especially enjoyed the amenities (nicely stocked gym, 5th floor pool/spa + mens and womens sauna rooms). The lobby floor japanese restaurant is pricey but good for small bites. And the hotel is in the middle of all the action (which means its only a few blocks from the tenderloin...) Overall, a nice hotel in which to stay.

Our stay at Hotel Nikko San Francisco was outstanding from start to finish. Ernesto, the concierge, was incredibly helpful in the lead up to our trip, answering questions and helping us plan well before we even arrived. That kind of attentiveness before check-in set the tone for the whole visit. The room upgrades were a lovely surprise, and the nightly turndown service was such a nice touch, complete with a paper crane left on the bed each evening - these lovely touches made us smile. The gym is genuinely well equipped with everything you could need, and the room service menu is worth exploring - we loved the ramen. The rooms themselves are well appointed and comfortable, exactly what you want after a long day out exploring the city. A special mention for Jason, Director of Commercial Strategy, who went out of his way to arrange a picnic blanket so my sister and I could properly enjoy the July 4th fireworks together. She flew in from Australia, and it was such a thoughtful gesture that made the evening even more special. The location cannot be beat. Everything in Union Square and beyond is an easy walk from here. If you are lucky enough to stay in an Imperial Suite with access to the Imperial Lounge, keep an eye out for Luis, who is happy and attentive every single day. Highly recommend Hotel Nikko for anyone visiting San Francisco. The team here genuinely cares about making your stay memorable.

We stayed in a wonderfully spacious room that provided plenty of comfort during our visit. Although the building itself felt a bit classic in style, I was pleased to find everything immaculately clean and smelling fresh. The staff truly went above and beyond to ensure our stay was pleasant and stress-free. I felt so well taken care of by the incredibly helpful and accommodating team throughout my time there. It is always a pleasure to experience such great hospitality when traveling to a new destination. I look forward to my next getaway and hope to enjoy such a relaxing atmosphere again soon!

The location of this hotel is excellent. It’s surrounded by plenty of shops, restaurants, and attractions, making it a perfect base for exploring the area. The room was clean, well-maintained, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. We also appreciated that the room included bathrobes and slippers, which many hotels don’t provide. The front desk staff were always available, friendly, and genuinely helpful. Everything went smoothly throughout our stay, and we didn’t experience a single issue. We were very happy with our stay and would gladly choose this hotel again.

Great hotel. Superb location although a bit too close to the area of homelessness in San Francisco, but not much the hotel can do about that. We stayed in a family room for four, very comfortable, good bathroom, facilities and toiletries. Staff were particularly friendly and responsive and really made her feel welcome. Highly recommend this for travelers. Price of parking is a little bit too expensive but there aren’t many other options in San Francisco.

There’s a lot to love about Hotel Nikko. The location is great, the rooms were quiet, spacious, and had a decent view. The indoor heated pool was fantastic, and the kids loved the movie showing at 6pm on that weekend. The service was all around exceptional. Let’s get the complaints out of the way: the bathrooms left much to be desired. They felt old and in desperate need of an upgrade. The listing said they had a refrigerator but it was only the hotel minibar with VERY limited space for our stuff. The AC system was also very finicky and I had to constantly mess around with it every day to get it right. We ended up staying for 3 nights and had a comfortable nights rest each time. Valet parking was about 90 dollars per day but there is a convenient parking garage across the street for half the price. I walked around the block a few times to pick up food and breakfast and never felt unsafe. Overall this was a great stay.
