If this hotel were $200 a night or 2 stars, perhaps I’d give it a pass. But for $500 / night, there are probably 5 better options within a half block radius. I was disappointed about pretty much everything here - WiFi did not work throughout my stay, service was unfriendly, beds were not particularly comfortable, the “gym” was not usable, the “business center” was a cramped cell with two tiny Mac’s. In summary, this hotel would be fine at a lower price, but is most definitely not 4 star quality.

My daughter and I came into town for the weekend to see the 49ers-Seahawks rivalry game and stayed here for two nights. From the moment we arrived, the staff was friendly and welcoming. We got there earlier than the check-in time, but they were happy to hold our bags so we could go explore the area. They advised us to call around noon to check on room availability. By approximately 2:00 PM, they had located a room for us and checked us in seamlessly. When we entered, we were very pleasantly surprised. The room was exceptionally clean and nice. One particularly cool feature was that you need to insert your room key into a slot by the door to turn on the lights. I thought this was brilliant because it means you can't accidentally lose your key while in the room—it's always right by the door. Overall, the hotel was lovely and quiet, making for a perfect weekend stay. I highly recommend.

I had a great stay at Orchard Garden Hotel while visiting San Francisco for the SF Marathon. The staff were incredibly friendly, professional, and welcoming throughout my stay. The hotel is clean, comfortable, and in a fantastic location, with easy access to the ferry building, union square, great restaurants, and many attractions. I truly appreciated the warm hospitality and would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended!
