My mom and I spent a few days here and had a delightful time. Mr. Steven at the front desk was so helpful, friendly and he had great recommendations. He even generously helped us get our luggage into our Uber. Our room was beautiful and huge with a nice view. The bathtub and shower were lovely as well. The yellow striped walls reminded me of “Eloise.” Highly recommend.

The room was very comfortable, quiet, spacious and very clean. An oversized bathroom was a nice change and plenty of towels provided. The staff was very polite greeted you when you arrived and when we departed every time. They always had a smile on their face. The staff was able to suggest local restaurants. This place is very central to a lot of good restaurants around the block. The location is a few steps from the Powell and Hyde trolley car. We will definitely return and stay at this hotel.

The hotel is located in a great area of San Francisco, and I was able to walk to many attractions and restaurants. The room was spacious and very clean. If I come back to San Francisco, I would definitely choose to stay at this hotel again.

The hotel is in an excellent location, just a couple of minutes’ walk from Chinatown, with plenty of public transportation options nearby, including the famous cable car. The room was spacious, and the staff were very polite and friendly. We also had housekeeping every day, which was really nice. The TV and shower could use some improvement, but overall, we had a great stay and I highly recommend this hotel.

Great hotel. Great location. Definitely will stay here again. Matilda and Rowan made our bookings and stay incredibly easy. We needed a wedding block of rooms for multiple nights with a variety of checking in and out dates. They answered my dozens of questions ranging from refrigerators to grocery stores to deliveries!

The Orchard Hotel is much more than just a hotel – it has a soul. From the moment you arrive, you feel genuinely welcome. The entire team is exceptionally friendly, warm, and always willing to help. Nothing is ever a problem; every request is met with a smile and an honest desire to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. A very special thank you goes to the hotel manager, Klaus. His passion for hospitality can be felt throughout the entire hotel. He has created an atmosphere where guests don't feel like customers—they feel at home. What impressed me most was that many wishes were anticipated and taken care of before I even had to ask. Outstanding service, wonderful people, and a place with real character. If you're looking for a hotel in San Francisco where you'll be treated like family rather than just another guest, the Orchard Hotel is the perfect choice. I'll definitely be back.

I stayed here in May with my husband for 4 nights. It was perfect! The location was great. Walking distance from many places, and not far from train stations. The room was nice. The staff was nice. The price was reasonable. I would definitely stay here again.

I had an outstanding experience with The Orchard Hotel and their incredible staff. During my stay, I purchased a medical device that unfortunately arrived after I had already returned to Chile. The hotel kindly received and safely stored the package for several weeks while I looked for a solution. Collins Chu and the entire Front Office team went far beyond what anyone could reasonably expect. They provided package measurements and photos, coordinated with me through multiple emails, printed a FedEx shipping label, and even handed the package to the FedEx driver for pickup. Their kindness, patience, professionalism, and willingness to help turned what had become a very stressful situation into a successful outcome. This level of customer service is truly exceptional and something I will always remember. I highly recommend The Orchard Hotel—not only because of its excellent location and comfortable accommodations, but especially because of the outstanding people who work there. Thank you again to Collins and the entire Orchard Hotel team!
