Needed a place to stay for a few days after completing the Camino. The staff is nice if you can find them. I didn't know until the day I checked out that if you need something to message them on WhatsApp. When you do see them and share your concerns they take notice and try to fix the issue. The bed was super comfortable and having a king size bed to sleep in was lovely. The little gallery/ sun room space was nice to have to and eat my breakfast in. The location was great. It is close to a couple museums, several churches, and places to eat. The air con works great!!! Several reviews mentioned on going construction at the property. I experienced one day of construction and then they started tearing done the scaffolding. Construction is no more as of 29 MAY 26. There is a bar or two next to or around the corner of the hotel so some nights were quiet and others not so much. Design choices were made in each of the rooms and textured black title is a bit harder to clean, but it is obivous the room needs a deep cleaning. A quick surface cleaning didn't hide the dust and dead skin build up in the closests and in the bathroom. It is possible the staff did a deep cleaning after I checked out. It isn't a bad place to stay. Just needs a bit more attention to detail on basic cleaniness.

Great boutique hotel in the old centre of the city, 5 minutes walk to the cathedral, bars and restaurants on the doorstep. Room was spacious and spotless, very comfortable bed and great shower. Breakfast was super, freshly squeezed orange juice, tea and coffee, toast, great tortilla and pastries. We had a bit of a problem trying to find the hotel, but Maria was really helpful waiting for us outside, trying to find us, and then kindly upgraded us to a larger room as my wife has a vision impairment. She also organised a card for the nearby car park at €14 per night. So if you are arriving by car, my tip is to follow the signs for the ‘La Salle’ car park, stop in the side road leading to the car park, and you’ll find the hotel just up the pedestrian only road opposite. Bear in mind also that the hotel doesn’t normally have anyone on reception after 8pm, although Maria kindly waited for us. Communication was really helpful via WhatsApp!|All in all, we had a great stay, super room, great value, lovely breakfast, and I would definitely recommend the Casas Reais!

A really well refurbished, modernised townhouse, located a 5 minute walk from the cathedral area, a few metres off the main road into a pedestrian zone. Fantastic staff helped us with directions, check in and a car park ticket. Kindly upgraded to a larger room as one of us had a vision impairment, exceptional service. Wonderful sleep in a huge bed, comfortable mattress. Very well served breakfast in the morning with fresh juice, selection of pastries, cereals, and tasty tortilla! Highly recommend!

Our experience was excellent. For what you pay & the location you couldn't ask for more. The room is small but very well equipped. The bathroom is impeccably clean & the toiletries were sufficient. A lot of 5 stars hotels didn't have a toothbrush and toothpaste in the bathroom but this humble 3 stars boutique had. The jacuzzi bathtub is very nice and clean and the balcony is so cosy and cute. For a 1 night stay in Santiago you can't ask for more especially with this price! It was a very short walking distance to Santiago cathedral and where all the restaurants & bars are. Thank you for the service and I hope you keep up the amazing work!

Beautiful place and spotless. However, I wouldn't stay here again due to the severe noise transfer between rooms. Especially from the motor/jets of the hot tub which some other guests turned on from 01:00 until 02:00. Extremely loud and I'm a light sleeper. Very unfortunate

Very nice place to decompress after the Camino. I got a loft room and the jetted tub was just what my ankles and feet needed. I was also able to watch my streaming services on the smart TV in my big bed with the fluffiest comforter. I recommend 100%. It also had a towel warner which doubled as a dryer for a few of my smaller handwashed items. Laundry is expensive in Spain!

Pleasant boutique hotel that underwent renovation recently. Very good location in the historic center, in a seven minutes walking distance from the Cathedral. The rooms are not spacious, but are convenient, quiet and the bed is comfortable. The bathroom is small, the washbasin is not very practical, but the shower is very good and the quality of the towels is great. The staff is super friendly. The quality of the breakfast must be improved, mainly including more healthy food. For the season the prices were much higher than expected.

A wonderful end to our Camino del Norte experience. Wish we could have stayed a second day, we loved this little hotel. Even though room was smallish, we had more than enough space. The bed was very comfortable and the spa tub a total luxury. Breakfast was good and the staff was helpful, and friendly. The location was great, on the edge of old town so not loud at night.
