Booked last minute for a 1-night stay - traditional japanese inn with tatami mats to sleep on so if you're not used to that then you wont be comfortable. Since its a 1 star hotel - Service was very hands off which was fine with us since short stay and not very much amenities. You also cant get early check-in no matter what nor store your luggage at the hotel. No bidets in the rooms. The heater was super warm (you cant move it or reposition the vents so its blasting on you while you sleep) and we tried to lower the setting but it didnt work (very old tech) so we had to turn it off but got really cold throughout the night.

The hotel is very much a comfortable place to lay your head, you get what you pay for. Check in was a breeze and the staff were very helpful. Location is fine, easy enough to get to the centre with a 15 minute walk or it's right next to the subway. Only downside would be that the room was kinda cold and it takes a while for the heater to warm it up.

Hi guys! I would definitely cme back here again as the place for me are so convenient and love able. We went during winter early Feb where Odori park is so freaking nearby just by walking distance. You can save on yr transport Budget. But if u're kind of lazy taking the strolls I advise u not. I enjoyed every detail of the pathway, the people- hood are amazing. Talked abt the Hotel itself, for us 3 snug inside in 1 tiny room ain't problem. Don't u expect for having 4 star hotel or so. They're more to homie place, u'll experience those slow pace moment quiet and memorable. Like really! We're totally fine with what they accommodate. They provide everything u needed as well the kind gesture of the owner making us warm 🙂Thank you for ur superb hospitality. Sincerer than other upgrades Hotel in town. Although has no lift, so carrying luggage a bit chaos but I'm okay with that. Will come bck again next time with my daughters.

I stayed here from 2/3 to 2/6 and enjoyed my stay. It is clean, comfortable and quiet. The tatami mats are excellent. With the thick futon mats and futon, you get a very nice comfortable sleep even for an American used to a bed. The bathroom is small, but more than adequate for what one needs to do there. The hotel is located close to several restaurants and bars. The small bar next to the hotel is adorable. The managers and their puppy, Luna, create a fun, happy environment where all are welcome. The beer is excellent and the food is excellent. Overal, loved my time here and would stay again.

Comfortable futon, better than average coffee in the morning, cramped bathroom and shower.
