You can’t ask for a better location in Sapporo. Connected directly to Sapporo Station and surrounded by restaurants, shopping, and attractions, JR Tower Hotel Nikko Sapporo made exploring the city incredibly easy while providing a comfortable and relaxing place to return to each day. We booked a Corner Twin Triple Room and a Moderate Double Room for our family of five, and were grateful that the staff arranged them side by side. Both rooms were spotless, with plush beds, quality linens, and plenty of space. But the best part was the view - especially in the corner room where the expansive windows showcased stunning city views that were just as beautiful during the day as they were at night. Breakfast was outstanding. The buffet featured a huge selection of Japanese and Western favorites, all fresh and delicious. We also tried the traditional Japanese set breakfast, which was equally enjoyable. Overall, this was a fantastic hotel that exceeded our expectations, and we would happily stay here again on a future visit to Sapporo.

This is my second time staying here. The hotel is conveniently located in JR Sapporo Station and there is a department store attached to it as well. There are many restaurants and shops within the vicinity. The staff were amazing and special thanks to Mr. Kenichi Kusakabe who gave me a complimentary upgrade and gave me a huge room (my room was also upgraded the year prior) and he was super friendly. Another staff member was the short female employee at the concierge who went out of her way to explain how to get on the morning Chuo Bus to Noboribetsu. Overall, amazing staff and everyone spoke excellent English. The room was new and had many facilities and there were universal outlets so you won’t need an adapter. There is also a chromecast. The room service food was a bit pricey and not that good. (I had the Hokkaido Potato, Curry and Chicken Zangi) I would definitely stay here again and I totally recommend it.

The location was perfect as it was located above the station. You did not need to walk outside. Very convenient!. The staff usually were very polite and caring. They were always ready to serve you all the time. The room size that I stayed was spacious and tidy.

JR Tower Hotel Nikko Sapporo is an excellent choice for exploring the city. The location could hardly be better, with direct access to Sapporo Station and easy connections to the airport and other destinations across Hokkaido. Breakfast was one of the highlights of our stay. The buffet offered an impressive selection of Japanese and Western dishes, including fresh local products and delicious Hokkaido melon. Combined with the views over the city, it was a wonderful way to start the day. The rooms were clean and comfortable, although the décor and furnishings could benefit from an update and feel somewhat dated compared with newer hotels. Nevertheless, the outstanding location, very good breakfast and overall comfort make JR Tower Hotel Nikko Sapporo a convenient and enjoyable place to stay.

I really enjoyed the three nights stay here. This hotel is very high class, and I would say it's the number one hotel in Sapporo considering its services, room quality, the onsen, and the location. Surprisingly, the price is very good value when compared to other hotels at this tier like the Intercontinental nearby. If you wanted a good rest & wind-down after your ski trip at hokkaido resorts and leisurely explore the town, this is the perfect hotel for you.

amazing 5-star hotel right in the middle of Sapporo city. it is located around Sapporo Station and JR Tower. very convenient easy access to train station and shopping malls within walking distance. nice and clean room. good interior design and excellent view to Sapporo city. recommended if you need good accomodation with easy access to public transport

A 5-star rating for rooms, service, and location is truly well deserved. The hotel is perfectly situated in central Sapporo, with easy walking access to the TV Tower and Susukino. It’s also incredibly convenient for last minute shopping, with Daimaru located just below. The rooms offer fantastic views, and the daily breakfast is excellent. Honestly, whenever I visit Hokkaido, this will always be my top choice ~ JR Tower Hotel without a doubt.

First time to this hotel on a brief visit to Sapporo. It is in an excellent location next to the train station with direct trains to the airport. The hotel was very clean with excellent service. The room was top quality with a comfortable bed and excellent views. They also have an awesome Japanese restaurant here where the food is supurb.
