We had an excellent stay at Sapporo Grand Hotel. The room was a perfect size for two adults and our 3-year-old son, even for a long stay, and the location is extremely convenient. Direct access to the CHIKAHO underground walkway was a huge plus. What we appreciated most was how family-friendly the hotel was. We were able to request a child toilet seat, a bathroom step stool and a diaper disposal bin in advance, and everything was already prepared in our room when we arrived. The staff were consistently kind and helpful. We would absolutely stay here again on a future trip to Sapporo. Highly recommended.

We chose Sapporo Grand Hotel because it has i) family room that can fit 4 beds, ii) direct access to the underground walkway and Sapporo Station, iii) its own dedicated private parking. The hotel outperformed on all these and more. I was most impressed with the spaciousness of the room. Not only can it fit 4 beds comfortably, it is also the first room I had ever occupied that can fit 4 chairs and a table! It also has a separate foyer, lots of wardrobe space and well equipped bathroom. It absolutely houses our family of 4 comfortably for 2 nights. It was also spotlessly cleaned. Breakfast was lovely too with sufficient variety and quality. The breads were particularly lovely and there are 9 different types of honey to choose from. The staff were also super efficient. They managed to deliver my packages easily. The hotel itself is full of old world charm, but not short on modern comforts. I would stay here again on my future visits to Sapporo.

We had a wonderful stay at Grand Mercure Sapporo Odori Park. Everything was truly excellent—from the incredibly kind and attentive staff, to the stylish and sophisticated interior, comfortable bedding, and delicious breakfast. I was especially impressed by how comfortable and welcoming the hotel felt throughout our stay. The limousine bus service, which provides direct and convenient access between the airport and the hotel, was also a huge plus. Everything came together to make this a truly perfect hotel experience. We will definitely stay here again on our next visit to Sapporo and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the city!

Great hotel, so far the best we’ve stayed in Sapporo over the years. Walking distance from Sapporo station and Odori/Susukino. The hotel is impeccable and the rooms are not tiny as in other Japanese hotels. If you pay a bit more, you can have 40m2 rooms which are huge. The breakfast is great, especially if you go for Japanese food where you can enjoy the garden view. The feedbacks I would give is that it’s a shame it doesn’t have an in-house onsen. There is nothing better than soaking in an onsen after a day about in Hokkaido especially in the winter. Also, I’m used to having an in-house laundry room in the Japanese hotels I’ve stayed in.

The location and room size are apparent advantages of the hotel but the best part is their thoughtful services. Special thanks to the staff at the lobby helping us wuth luggages, helping to entertain our 1 year old and even helped us put a handle for a paper box luggage of ours to make it easier to be carried. (Thanks to J. HAN, 对馬, and who seem to be a foreign national from south asia that i couldnt capture the name at the lobby on Oct 3rd day time) Thanks to 谷 for helpful interpretations. The hotel is a perfect choice for families with babies given the larger room size, relatively baby safe room and their amazing hospitality. We stayed at their 2020 renovated premiere king and the deluxe twin, both are great size and the premiere king was worth the upgrade with thoughtful and functional designs of the room and amenities. Great sizes for both.

This is very good hotel where I experienced ever. Especially breakfast is excellent. Please come and enjoy. You will never regret. The other good point is here is?very near from Sapporo station and whenever you may be confused or lost bearings, you can find it vey easily.

A great place in the heart of Sapporo. There are actually two sections, one with modern finishings and one with slightly dated rooms. The section to the left of reception is the modern wing. They offer a traditional Japanese breakfast as well as a continental one. The continental buffet is excellent with all the usual as well as a few local dishes. They give you a card when seating you. You got to turn it over to let them know you're done. The Mizar lounge is great for a high tea.

It is an amazing service spirit hotel you cannot find in US. My son’s phone was missing and I called room service after 10 min, manager and other lady came to check up. So impressed by their culture and respect towards customers. Weather it’s fake or not their value of customer service is still very hard to find nowadays . When breakfast was almost over, the server was telling customers one to one to let them know the breakfast time will end soon.
