The location is convenient, but overall, the stay did not meet my expectations.
First, parking is very inconvenient. The hotel uses a mechanical parking system, but there is no valet service, so you have to wait quite a while every time you park or retrieve your car. It is also not particularly cheaper than nearby private self-parking lots, so there is not much advantage to using the hotel parking.
The biggest issue was the lack of storage space in the room. There was a large wardrobe in the room, but guests are not allowed to use it. When I asked the front desk, I was told that it is used to store bedding. Other than that wardrobe, the only storage available was two very small drawers. In other words, the hotel is effectively using part of the guest room as its own storage space, while passing the inconvenience on to the guests.
This was especially frustrating because we paid extra for an additional bed, which made the room even more cramped. There was barely enough space to open a luggage rack, and there was almost nowhere to organize our belongings. In our case, the wardrobe in the room was actually empty, so we asked if it could be unlocked for us to use. However, the staff simply repeated that it was “against the rules.” There was no sense of flexibility or willingness to respond to the actual situation.
If you are expecting Japanese “omotenashi” hospitality, you may be disappointed. My impression was that the hotel is happy to take the customer’s money, but not willing to make even a minimal effort to reduce the customer’s inconvenience.
There were also other issues. The TV in the room did not turn on. Of course, not many people watch hotel TV these days, but room equipment should still work properly. The hotel provides two types of slippers, but it was unclear whether they are washed after each guest or reused as-is.
If you choose this hotel only for the location, it may be acceptable. However, if parking convenience, in-room storage space, or staff responsiveness matter to you, I would not recommend it.

Regarding parking, we are sorry for the inconvenience caused by our mechanical system and the absence of valet service, as well as for not providing a clear value advantage compared with nearby self-parking options. We are reviewing peak-time operations (including additional staffing, pre-queueing for vehicle retrieval, and clearer pre-arrival guidance). On in-room storage, especially with an extra bed, we acknowledge that space was inadequate and that the locked wardrobe caused frustration. Historically, some wardrobes have been used for bedding storage for hygiene and housekeeping reasons and were kept locked by default. However, we recognize that we should have responded more flexibly to your situation. We are updating our policy to allow unlocking when it is safe and appropriate, and we are expanding alternatives such as additional drawers, portable wardrobes, extra luggage racks, and storage bins as standard offers on request. We will also strengthen our pre-arrival room recommendations for parties with multiple guests, longer stays, or extra beds to ensure you have a room that matches your space needs.
Concerning staff responsiveness, your comment that we repeated it’s against the rules without offering solutions is deeply troubling and not the standard of omotenashi we strive for. We have begun retraining all team members to propose alternatives proactively, exercise appropriate discretion within their authority, and focus on reducing guest inconvenience whenever possible.
We also apologize that the television did not turn on. This has been repaired, and we are conducting a property-wide preventive maintenance audit to ensure all equipment functions properly. As for slippers, we provide two types: a single-use pair (replaced for each guest) and a thicker reusable pair that is laundered and sanitized after each stay. We recognize our labeling and explanation were unclear and will improve both the in-room information and front-desk briefing.
