There were several serious issues with this property: No reception and no staff (or guest for that matter) present at the property, even though I arrived during the limited check-in time slot (15:00–17:00). The premises included multiple abandoned buildings filled with discarded scrap. These buildings were dirty, messy, and clearly unused for a long time. The swimming pool was closed off with a chain and padlock, and the outdoor shower was broken. The room contained numerous personal belongings of the owners (old shoes, underwear, used toothbrushes in the bathroom), which was highly unprofessional. Moreover the bedcovers were stained. Electrical installation issues: I was instructed to manually reset the fuse box myself in case of further blackouts, which is not acceptable for a guest.

We had a lovely quiet stay in this beautiful part of France. Rossillonie is an eclectic mixture of rooms and cottages all, of which have character and charm in a lovely quiet setting off the 'beaten track'. The cottage we stayed in was spacious and comfortable, with an excellent bed. Breakfast had a good variety of good quality produce. The breakfast table is shared by other guests and attended to by one of the hosts, which made for an enjoyable start to the day.|The village, situated on the river, is charming, as is the surrounding area and boasts a couple of good restaurants. To drive down to the village takes about 5 minutes. If walked you're looking at about 30 minutes. Longer after a meal and wine!

Very nice cottage in the middle of nature. The cottage itself is very old but it has all the modern necessity. The breakfast is great and Paula is very friendly and offers good tipps about the area. The swimming pool is heated and we had a great time at Chambre La Rossillonie. We especially miss the lovely cat.

My husband and I stayed at Chamber d'Hotes La Rossillonie for 2 nights. When we first arrived, we both said it was one of the most beautiful places we had ever stayed. The room was large and right next to the pool. There is a walking trail from the hotel that goes right into town (about 10 minute walk). We enjoyed swimming in the beautiful pool, breakfast on the porch, and walks into town. Very relaxing and peaceful. I can't recommend this place enough!!

I took my teenage son on a brief trip to the Dordogne this past summer. I highly recommend this little B&B/Inn which is far enough away from Beynac-et-Cazenac to not be overwhelmed by the throngs of tourists but still close enough to enjoy all the area has to offer. This prices are very reasonable, the rooms are clean and well appointed and the staff was very friendly. I would definitely stay here again were I to return to the Dordogne and I highly recommend it as an alternative to staying in the center of town where it's impossible to flee the crowds and noise.

I made a mistake on the dates when booking through Expedia and contacted customer service after 5 days of trying to contact the hotel to correct the booking Expedia Customer service sent me an email stating they gave up trying to call the hotel. I then emailed the the hotel and asked them to correct the booking they replied that I would have to cancel the reservation and re-book resulting in a $110 Cancellation fee. They don't answer their phone and when contacted were not helpful. Not happy and will book my 3 night stay in another hotel in the area. Their lose.

We were rescued by other guests, but still no one was there to greet us. Instructions were given over the phone! The room did not match the description; the toilet and bathroom were tiny, the cleaning was very superficial, the wool blankets on the beds were worn, and there was no Wi-Fi. The pool had a few leaves, which was acceptable, but it was clearly not maintained. The setting was very pleasant, but this did not make up for the rest. The breakfast was good, but ultimately, the price is absolutely not justified by the quality of the accommodation. A huge disappointment. (Original) je déconseille fortement ,accueil inexistant, aucune signalétique pas d'information numéro de téléphone sur la réservation incorrect, sauvé par d'autre client mais toujours personne pour nous recevoir consignes donnée par téléphone, !!! la chambre ne correspond pas au descriptif, toilette et salle de bain minuscule, ménage très approximatif, couverture en laine fatigué sur les lits, wifi inexistante ;piscine avec quelque feuille passe encore, mais visiblement pas entretenue; cadre très agréable mais ne compense pas le reste , bon petit déjeuné ,pour finir le prix n est absolument pas adapté pour la qualité de l' hébergement; grosse déception
