A beautiful gem, in a wonderful location! I think it pretty much sums it up. The people owning and working here, really deserve some credit. They go above and beyond. We felt very welcome from the moment we stepped in, until we left. The food is above average. I'd say fine dining. Good quality ingredients. Exciting recipes, and extremely well executed. The beer is extraordinarily good. (from a local brewery). We had kids with us, and they were very tolerant. Thank you very much to the staff and the owners, and the Danish speaking French chef. (what a fun little surprise) Best of luck. Bon courage

We stayed for 3 nights in September. We found the service friendly and professional from all staff. The room is simple but works well enough. The bathroom perhaps a little basic. We would have liked a fridge in the room so we could keep some snacks and drinks cold. The hotel grounds are very nice and well maintained. The pool area is lovely and terrace excellent. The car park is good and has EV chargers for those who need. The walk in to town is heavy going. Especially on the way back with a very steep hill.

This review is based on the hotel only as the staff and the restaurant are both fantastic. The food is superb and the best we have eaten in France. However the rooms are in extreme need of renovation, rooms are small and beds are uncomfortable. It's a real shame as this hotel could be something outstanding due to its look outside and the restaurant. Everything that doesn't need renovation does need a good clean. Right down to the hotel sign. Overall we enjoyed our stay it's just a shame the quality of the rooms are so poor

Beautiful location, beautiful externally including all outside spaces, great staff but the room was poor. It was too small, in need of refurbishment and had no air conditioning. It's a shame as everything else is really nice. I guess if you are not expecting to be in the room much and it is not too hot it should be fine.

The room was very comfortable. The hotel was approximately ten minutes drive from Sarlat therefore, walking was not an option as the hotel is at the top of a hill. The grounds around the hotel were lovely with wonderful views.

This hotel is absolutely great. Very calm place. Only 4 Km from the center of Sarlat. Beautiful views. Very friendly staff. Very nice swimming pool and restaurant. Prices are reasonable. Everything was clean and the staff is very friendly and professional. We loved our breakfasts there and our afternoons at the swimming pool. The perfect base to visit the many attractions of Dordogne. I would place this hotel in the top 5 of the many hotel that I tried in many parts of France. If you stay in Sarlat, this is the place to go. Absolutely recommended.

Amazing place! Only a few minutes to Sarlat on a beautiful and peaceful hill covered by beautiful trees and with amazing views! The pool is fantastic, as well as the restaurant terrace. The perfect place!
