You have plenty of dining options right at the hotel. The Grand Hyatt Seattle has its own restaurant, bar, cafe, and snack bar, plus attached spots like Ruth's Chris Steak House, Blue C Sushi, and a Starbucks. Across the street, the Hyatt at Olive 8 offers Urbane, a farm-to-table restaurant with Northwest dishes. Within the surrounding blocks, you can find many more restaurants, including Carmine's 5th Ave for Italian, Qiao Lin Hotpot for Chinese, The Carlile Room for contemporary American, and Terra Plata for farm-to-table fare. For a quick bite, the NYC Deli Market is also on the same block.
You are in the heart of downtown Seattle, surrounded by shops, theaters, and dining. The Washington State Convention Center is just a block away, and Pacific Place and Westlake Center are within a short walk. Pike Place Market and the Seattle Art Museum are about a 10-minute walk, and the waterfront with the Seattle Aquarium and Great Wheel is 12 to 13 minutes on foot. The Space Needle and Seattle Center are an 18 to 19 minute walk, with the monorail from Westlake Center as an easy option. The hotel's own dining includes Ruth's Chris Steak House, Blue C Sushi, and a Starbucks, plus Urbane across the street at Hyatt at Olive 8.
From Seattle-Tacoma International Airport, take the Link light rail to Westlake Station, a 2-minute walk from the hotel. The train runs frequently and connects directly to downtown. If you are arriving by train at King Street Station, you can take a taxi or ride-hailing service for a short trip to the hotel. The hotel is also near several bus stops, including Pine St & 9th Ave, a 3-minute walk away. For a direct option, a pre-booked transfer or taxi from the airport is straightforward. The hotel is at 721 Pine St, in the Central Business District.
In the evening, you can walk 12 minutes to the Seattle Aquarium or 13 minutes to The Seattle Great Wheel, both lively spots by the waterfront. The Space Needle is an 18-minute walk away, and Chihuly Garden and Glass is 19 minutes, with Seattle Center nearby. The hotel's own Bar, Cafe, Restaurant, and Snack bar offer convenient options for a relaxed evening. Ruth's Chris Steak House and Blue C Sushi are also attached to the hotel, so you can enjoy dinner without going far. From Westlake Station, a short walk away, you can take the monorail to Seattle Center for more evening sights.
