Everything, especially location, was really good! A large variety of breakfast and the bingsu from Pierre Hermes cafe on the first floor was amazing. Not overly sweet with generous portion! Theres a drop off lobby so we don’t have to rush getting off the car on the side of the street. And there’s a blue bottle coffee next to it so we can order coffee and go!

I visit Seoul 5 to 6 times a year, staying anywhere from 1 to 3 weeks per trip, and Andaz Gangnam has become the only hotel I look forward to coming back to. It has completely ruined all other options for me in the best way possible! What makes this property truly exceptional is that it never feels repetitive or stale. They continually find subtle, thoughtful ways to evolve and elevate the guest experience. Every single visit brings fresh, detailed enhancements whether it is a new variation in the welcome drinks and room snacks, updated luxury toiletries, or seasonal additions to the breakfast menu. Beyond the stunning design and location, the service here sets a global standard from the moment you step foot on the property. Service is excellent and everyone accommodates your needs. Huge appreciation as well to the entire breakfast team for starting every morning on such a high note for their exceptional care, warmth, and professionalism. If you are looking for a hotel in Seoul that combines top-tier hospitality, constant culinary and service innovation, and genuinely caring staff, Andaz Gangnam is unbeatable. I already cannot wait for my next visit!

The Andaz Seoul is a nice property overshadowed by it's lack of hospitality and attention to detail. As a frequent traveler, I try to keep to myself and not ask much from service, provided they stay consistent. From the start, I had $100 Hotel Collection credit that the reservation desk neve informed me of nor where I could spend it so I had to ask the front desk later and was given different answers. Secondly, housekeeping has no attention to detail. They removed one of the two robes without replacing it, did not provide a shower floor towel nor (consistent) waters at turndown. The way the room is set up, there is a small bathroom with a sink and a shower with a main sink next to it. Apparently each room is equipped with only one hand soap so you have to go to the toilet sink to wash your hands instead of the main sink. The thermostat also goes out to 18.5 C but it doesn't go below 21C and it took two days for it to hit that temperature. It was extremely hot the first night. In addition, when I asked the valet for a taxi, they told me to go inside and ask the front desk for one. I would say the service is similar to a Hyatt Place but the hotel itself is more on par with an Marriott Autograph collection. The buffet is very strong and has quite the selection. I do not recommend staying at this hotel if you prefer higher level of service and attention to detail.

The hotel is located in a newer, modern part of the city with so many great restaurants, cafés, and shopping options both inside and around the area. The property itself feels very upscale and contemporary, with sleek, stylish room designs that were both comfortable and impressive. Everything felt clean, polished, and thoughtfully designed. The breakfast buffet was also excellent with a wide variety of options and a great spread each morning. As a Hyatt Globalist, I truly felt valued throughout the stay. The staff was incredibly genuine and welcoming from the moment we arrived, making every effort to check us in early which was greatly appreciated after traveling. We were also given drink tickets, a thoughtful welcome gift, and even special anniversary gifts that made our celebration feel extra memorable.

One of the best breakfast buffet. Not a huge selection like the four seasons Seoul, but the ones at the andaz were so good! I thought the couch had bed bugs and notified them and they did a thorough check for us. We got a suite, plenty of space for our family of 4 but the suite is not as big as the other hotels. Overall, would stay again.

One of the things I always appreciate most about staying in Korea is the unique warmth and hospitality that is difficult to find anywhere else in the world. Andaz Seoul Gangnam captures that feeling beautifully. The service here is not only professional but also genuinely thoughtful and heartfelt. There is a level of kindness, attention to detail, and quiet care that makes every guest feel truly welcomed. Andaz has its own distinctive style of hospitality that goes beyond luxury. It is this special service, combined with an authentic sense of Korean warmth, that keeps bringing me back. A special thank you to Sky Choi for making this stay especially memorable. Your professionalism, kindness, and genuine hospitality perfectly represent what makes Andaz Seoul Gangnam such a remarkable hotel.

I had a wonderful three-night stay at Andaz Hotel. Although there was an issue at check-in where our reserved Deluxe Two Twin room had been given away, the staff handled the situation professionally by upgrading us to a spacious Premium King room and offering to move us the next day. After settling in, we decided to stay in the upgraded room because it was so comfortable. The hotel itself is beautiful and perfectly located, with direct access from Basement Level 2 to the subway, Starbucks, restaurants, and the Hyundai Department Store, making it incredibly convenient for travelers. What truly made the stay exceptional was the hospitality. Every staff member we encountered was warm and helpful, but Peter and Josh Park stood out for their outstanding service and kindness. Their attentiveness made our stay especially memorable, and we truly appreciated the care they showed throughout our visit.
