The room was nice and clean, the staff was extremely kind and professional, and the location is convenient, near the tramway to the main city sights. The pool is nice, and you can ask for towels at the reception, which is very practical. Please note that the standard room does not include a coffee machine.

Great location & staff generally ,as usual very polite . However ,i have a very Strong matter ,that is not becoming a Group of Hotels ,1 of the Largest of its kind Barcelo. Why? - Simple, i travel a lot & i mean quite a bit.Especially in my belived Espania & a lot of countries in Europe . But ,having been part of the barcelo loyalty scheme ,i was xlearly told that asmall Cup of good black coffee,is chargeable. Ironic ,because, all the other barcelo hotels have - Never Charged me & the cost of the coffee is irrelevant as i can more than afford it. Its -' NOT' ,the fault of any or all members of viapole - occidental sevilla, its just some -Very -Dumb ' twit sitting in Marketing & An equal dumber - Finace Manager - proberbly based in Majorca. Considering ,Hospitality is not how Barcelo group started - well than ,having become a billion dollars operation - you're missing -THE TREE - from the forest. In the last year or less ( I've spent over £3500 /£4000I & over & further have a booking @ occidental alicante for 7/ 8 days. May have to reconsider my Options, after all a good hotel is just a good HOTEL @the end of the day - Chow- Joke is - LOYALTY SCHEME- Shame really ," On your way up - REMEMBER & RESPECT " the people who have spent their hard eatned Money ,otherwise- YOU'LL- meet them on your way DOWN OK. The Biggest ,let down is not the cist nor the value of an additionally purchased items ,like bar drinks ,snacks or meals - one has to do that @ all hotels ,given. Its ,just that ,i make all -My bookings @ Barcelo stay in Advanced payment - some what 10% or more promotional Rates. To ,my shock & Horror ,i was only staying @ Srvilla viapole for the 1 of night on the 21 st of July - checking out on the 23rd of july. Than ,was told ,that only " Superior Rooms for 1 persons - can get Kettle & in room - both coffee & Tea . This is fine & acceptable. However ,i disco ered ,once ipressed a few on - line buttons on various hotels comparison sites that ,I've paid far in excess of the Rates ,that i could of got ,had i just ,walked off the Streets in the day & got a " Superior Room @ a much Lower costs than ,when i had originally booked & paid for 3 months ago. So ,that my friends is the " VALUES" in life & lessons to be learned ,that Large Companies ,( Loyalty programmes) leave a lot to be desired & just don't, fall for their - non sensible gimmicjs -STAY COOL NOW - you- here ok. Enjoy & Live life bur do your due diligence

We have just returned from a three night stay. It is, without doubt, one of the best hotels that we have stayed in. The staff, without exception could not have been more pleasant and helpful and our room was spotlessly clean, deliciously cool thanks to the very efficient air conditioning and lovely and quiet. The breakfast, while it cost 15 euros pp, was really excellent and, in my opinion, well worth the money. In addition the Hotel pool, though not large, seemed adequate for the number of people using it with sun loungers and a pool side bar. The Hotel is situated within walking distance of the Plaza de Espagne, the Alcazar, and the Cathedral and a really excellent frequent and very reasonable tram runs in front of the Hotel connecting it to other parts of the City. In short I don’t see how one could find a better Hotel to stay in while visiting this lovely City

My husband and I stayed two nights at the hotel. We went to the Iconica Festival in Seville. The location is perfect for the concert, as it's within easy walking distance. The breakfast is a highlight. The variety and quality of the fruits, cheeses, and breads are excellent. You can even order omelets or scrambled eggs made to order by the chef. There's also a restaurant that helped us at dinnertime, as meal times in Spain are different from what we're used to. We will return and recommend the hotel.

Had a lovely stay, recently while on vacation. The hotel was, clean, daily room service, and friendly staff. The hotel is right next to the tram, which is only a few stops from the historic district. The price is reasonable.
