Absolutely wonderful experience in this hotel and highly recommend. Traveled solo and felt quite safe and welcomed. The staff is friendly, efficient and welcoming. High marks for hospitality and efficiency and vibe. Their food is well presented and delicious. I ate there many times on this trip and am a vegetarian and there were plenty of choices for me. The garden settings (lobby, restaurant, pool area) are peaceful, calm and so lovely. The hotel itself is well situated and within walking distance of shops, restaurants, etc. About 10 minute slow walk from Beer Street if that's your thing but it's on a smaller street that is quiet and peaceful. The hotel has tuk tuk drivers available to take you anywhere you'd like as well as arrange tours in the area. This was a great addition. The bed was comfy and the room was very clean and toiletries were provided, which is convenient when you travel. It feels like a small oasis tucked away in the beautiful tropical plants. Highly recommend.

We spent 10 days at Babel Guesthouse and highly recommended it. Rooms are comfortable and very clean with efficient aircon. The lovely pool is a major bonus, particularly in the humid wet season. The staff are very friendly and helpful, the food is very good and the coffee is excellent! We hired good quality Giant mountain bikes for 3 days to see the temples at Angkor and also arranged an enjoyable trip by tuktuk further away to Banteay Srei and Kbal Spean. The eco-friendly philosophy of the guesthouse is refreshing in a country where minimising use of plastic is very hard work.

A wonderfully delicious little slice of rainforest in the city of Siem Reap. We spent a really enjoyable 4 nights here. We had a family room with two doubles and had ample space. Room were simply furnished and air con was good. The food served here is amazing. We hadn't planned on eating here as much as we did. And surprisingly we kept being drawn to the very tasty mexican options. It was like a mini break from rice and noodles that we didn't know we needed. Also serve a mean margarita. They have a gorgeous ethos which we loved. You'll see 'Theres no Planet B' printed ina few locations and they follow up with refill stations to avoid plastic waste. The restaurant and reception area are a lovely space to while away some time while planning your next day. And the star for my kids was the pool area. We'd highly recommend Babel to families or other travellers as a nice place to spend some time while exploring Siem reap and Angkor. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Bonus being having Brother Bong around the corner while serves up an amazing flatwhite and an Avo and Eggs brekkie. Things we'd missed having since starting travelling a month ago.

Absolutely fantastic experience. Probably the best place we have stayed thus far in our travels - a beautiful property in a perfect location, excellent bar (with proper cocktails available!)/restaurant, helpful and friendly staff, banging air con - what more could you want? Loved the eco friendly vibe too. They organised a tour of Angkor Wat for us and truly, it was brilliant. Our guide, Kim, was unparalleled in his knowledge and energy. He also is a photo wizard! We had such a wonderful time with him and would recommend you book the tour with the guesthouse just to have him as your guide! All in all, a great experience we would 100% repeat if we return to Siem Reap!

The room smells of some kind of fungi. But still other places are very stylish and very eco-friendly despite being in the middle of the city. Note that they don't give you slippers.

What a hidden gem, clean rooms, great food and drink, fantastic outside areas-bars, chill out and pool area. The staff were particularly friendly and very helpful. Great base to explore Siem Reap and surrounding areas

Very friendly Staff, clean rooms and the Pool is great to recover. We love it. If you have the Chance to book Kosal as your driver, Do it! We made a few tours with him, he speaks very good english and all the tours were worth the price. Thanks a lot to Babel and Kosal, Happy New Year.

We had an excellent stay here, and even chose to return again later in our stay. The staff are lovely and the food is good (the orange boost juice and the brownie were my favorites). The pool is great- kids are often playing in it during the day and it is quieter at night. The only downside is that there are quite a few mosquitoes at dawn and dusk. Ask for bug spray at the front desk and wear long sleeve and pants.
