We spent a week here and the location is great, walking distance to most places and tuk tuk, taxi etc easily accessible from the front. All the staff are kind, happy to help with anything at any time and the personal service cannot be faulted giving this beautiful hotel a friendly atmosphere. The rooms are a decent size and kept very clean and all amenities required provided. The salt water pool was kept beautifully clean as were the day beds and towels. The spa was outstanding, we had a few Khmer massages and oh my goodness, probably the best we have ever had. All the staff at this hotel do an outstanding job and we are sad to leave but will definitely be returning.

Viroth’s Villa was a very relaxing stay in Siem Reap. The hotel has a peaceful boutique atmosphere with greenery, a nice outdoor saltwater pool, and a quiet location in the Wat Bo area. The room felt comfortable and the service was warm and attentive. I also enjoyed the breakfast, especially the noodle dish, omelette, croissant, and fresh salad. The breakfast felt simple but fresh, nicely prepared, and a good start before visiting Angkor Wat and other temples. The location is convenient, not far from the Old Market and Pub Street, but the hotel itself still feels calm and private. Overall, it is a beautiful place for travelers who want comfort, good service, and a peaceful stay in Siem Reap.

So if you're reading this review, you are likely deciding where to stay in Siem Reap. I'll shortcut what I'm about to say - by suggesting you rush to book Viroth's. It is simply superb. I am a well traveled person - multiple Africa, Europe, South America, North America, Caribbean, and India locations, with hotel choices ranging from the boutique and rustic to the Super Luxury. I have over 74 trip advisor reviews published. My trip was with my adult daughter. Viroth's stands out in multiple ways. The rooms are well appointed and the beds are super comfortable. The pool is fantastic - a perfect respite after a busy day temple hopping, and it was never busy during our stay. The service at the pool, bar and restaurant was attentive and the food was excellent. The spa service was heavenly - I had a 1 hour massage and it felt like 2 hours as I almost drifted off to sleep. The staff - both at the hotel, in transport and on the temple tours, is another way the hotel was truly exceptional. Cold towels every time we stepped back in, bug spray every time we stepped out in the evening, always an interest in what we were doing and how we were enjoying our stay, and always friendly service with a smile. Haut and Mr Lon (our tour guide and driver) were patient, friendly, knowledgeable and genuinely cared about our happiness. I can easily see why this is a top hotel in the world. I 100% would recommend this to family and friends as the only place to stay in Siem Reap.

From the very first moment you arrive, the service is impeccable. The concierges, waiters, housekeeping staff—everyone is exceptionally polite, friendly, and eager to help. You feel as though they have known you forever. The breakfast is carefully prepared and very generous. The pool, lobby, rooms, and all the facilities are literally spotless. Not to mention that the décor has been crafted down to the smallest detail with incredible taste.|would also like to emphasize that everything is always impeccably clean Honestly, you leave with a wonderful feeling and a strong desire to return. Amazing stay! Beautiful hotel with clean, spacious rooms and top notch service throughout. Breakfast was great, and I loved eating at the courtyard cafe each morning. The little touches made the experience feel extra special, from the body scrub provided in the bathroom to the complimentary vintage car ride. I also enjoyed a traditional Cambodian massage at the on-site spa, which was a highlight of my stay. The gym was well-equipped to keep up with workouts while traveling.

We are currently staying at Viroth’s Hotel during our honeymoon, and I can honestly say this is the best hotel service we have ever experienced. From the moment we arrived, the team made us feel incredibly special. They welcomed us with thoughtful honeymoon details that immediately set the tone for our stay. Every interaction has been warm, genuine, and flawless. Whether at reception, by the pool, in the restaurant, or simply passing through the hotel, every single staff member goes above and beyond with a smile. What truly sets Viroth’s apart is the consistency of the service; everyone is exceptional. The attention to detail is remarkable, and the staff somehow anticipates what you need before you even ask. The pool area is absolutely stunning and feels like a peaceful oasis after exploring the temples of Angkor. The food has been delicious throughout our stay, with excellent breakfasts and wonderful dining options. Every meal has exceeded our expectations. The hotel itself is beautiful, stylish, and perfectly maintained, but what makes it unforgettable is the people. They have created an atmosphere that feels luxurious yet incredibly welcoming. As a fun bonus, there is a lovely boutique right across the street where we constantly found things we wanted to buy! Thank you to the entire team for making this part of our honeymoon so memorable. Fantastic experience at a beautifully designed property not far from centre. Haven of peace and outstanding staff. Great pool, nice breakfast with lovely strong coffee. Best hotel we stayed in during our Cambodia trip. Everything just felt so calm. Lots of lovely small touches from cold towels on return and mosquito spray when venturing out at night. Also packed us a breakfast for early morning trip which was plentiful and appreciated.

Viroth’s feels like stepping off a busy street and straight into a calm little sanctuary. The team somehow nails that perfect balance of being attentive without ever hovering—warm greetings when you return, genuinely upbeat reception staff, and even a friendly reminder (and a quick spritz of mosquito repellent) before you head back out. Our room was spotless every day, and it was always easy to come back to cold, fresh bottled water after being out in the heat. The design of the hotel is gorgeous—lush, tranquil, and thoughtfully put together—and the pool became our favourite reset button in the afternoons. We also ate at the hotel and were really impressed: fresh, well-cooked, and consistently tasty. If you’re deciding where to stay in Siem Reap, this one is an easy yes. It was hands-down one of the highlights of our Cambodia trip—thank you for such a wonderful start to our holiday.
