This is a hostel with shared bathroom and in the progresss of renovation. We spent half hour walking outside the old building and cannot confirm that is the destination I find. The so called free parking is in your own effort to find somewhere provided in the city. Of course we need to pay for parking in this mini tourist city after searching in the town.I searched for hotel and residence with private bath room and free parking when I book a room or apartment, had no idea why this came out. That's the experience we can't manage. First upon the host arrange a roof top room and cannot stand up from the middle to end of the room.Luckily, the host agreed to changed a normal ceiling room for us.The locks of the room and entrance need extra effort to operate.

Overall wonderful and positive experience. Staff were very responsive and helpful. We were able to store our bags and explore Sintra before check in times. Room was clean and comfortable, very fun and cute. Location was excellent, with a market right across the street!

A complete lack of professionalism. I booked a room for two people and received confirmation that everything was correct. On the same day, about one hour before check-in, they suddenly cancelled the reservation without any prior notice, claiming in the email that the cancellation had been requested by me, which is completely false. When I contacted customer support, I was assisted by someone who only spoke English and was difficult to understand, which made the situation even more frustrating. They said it was a system error and that they no longer had availability, simply suggesting that I book another Airbnb or hotel. This situation caused a huge inconvenience and financial loss to my trip, as we had to make a last-minute booking under pressure. This case has already been reported to the relevant authorities, as it is unacceptable to accept bookings without guaranteeing availability and then provide false information to justify the mistake. I do not recommend this place at all. If you want a stress-free holiday, avoid booking here, as you may receive confirmation that everything is fine and still end up without accommodation at the last minute.

Room: 2☆ Service: 2☆ Location: 5☆ I don't want to say too much but the location was the only good thing for us. 🫤 Good things : nice exterior holiday house,30 min walking to the castle 👌🏽 , nice area, Auchan shop few min away, local food restaurants near by... Bad things: noisy house, poor kitchen area, basically doesn't exist during winter, small living room, very cold room, using only one small hitter, no shower gel at all in the bathroom, nobody here to let them know, dirty sheets & pillows 🫤 I understand that you are celebrating the Christmas time as well, but at least the minimum service to provide for your customers, I expected. 4 nights for 206£ and an extra 2 euro per night for local tourist tax . I've been contacted by Booking.com app by the owner but it wasn't enough, sorry. Maybe during summer is working well for you as the customers won't complain about cold and poor service but at this time of the year, should be understandable. I didn't want to make pictures at everything was not okay, I just wanted to get in the room as late as possible, and get out in the morning and enjoy the local attractions, as other tourists recommend me to do. I hope you will make sure in the future that there is a proper cleaning room, corridor and living room as we all deserve. And please make sure that you will inform the customers to keep quite during the midnight, it was terrible every night, lack of respect from them. 🤦‍♀️🫤

Spent 3 nights for our Boom decompression in this cozy clean and comfortable space. Staff and managers were extra helpful and they were so kind to add a new mattress for our friend with a little price increase. They were always responsive. The garden is very cute, kitchen is very functional. Overall enjoyed our stay very much

Loved our stay - great value and hosts weren’t around but with their tech they were able to let us check ourselves into a cozy room. Very clean, well decorated and happy vibes! Host was super friendly and communicative. Easy to walk to the cute part of town.

Seemed a really nice place online but they cancelled our reservation 24 hours beforehand despite having booked over a month ahead of time. Recieved a cryptic email online and upon calling directly they admitted they had accepted too many incoming bookings and had missed our reservation. This was despite receiving multiple confirmation emails from both themselves and Hostelworld. Proceed with cautious before booking here.

We loved our stay in Sintra! The kitchen, bathrooms, and common spaces are very clean and nice. There is a lovely outdoor patio for eating and relaxing. It is in the perfect location too! I highly recommend to any person or group visiting Sintra!
