Grand Hotel Excelsior Vittoria

For dining, the hotel itself offers several excellent options. Terrazza Bosquet is a Michelin-starred restaurant for dinner, while L'Orangerie is a garden-side spot for Italian and Mediterranean dishes. Terrazza Vittoria provides open-air dining and evening drinks with views of the Bay of Naples, and Ristorante Vittoria serves breakfast and selected occasions. For lighter fare, Vittoria's Bar, La Pergola Bar à Champagne, and the Orangerie Poolside Bar offer cocktails, champagne, and light bites. Since the hotel is in Piazza Tasso, Sorrento's central square, you are also steps away from the old town's cafés and restaurants.

The hotel sits right on Piazza Tasso, Sorrento's central square, on a cliff above the Bay of Naples with views toward Mount Vesuvius. The old town, with its narrow historic streets, cafés and boutiques, is immediately around you. The Cloister of Saint Francis and Sorrento Municipal Park are each a 3-minute walk away, and the Lift to Sorrento Marina is also 3 minutes on foot. The hotel's own five-acre private park keeps the setting calm, while the marina and sea are close by for boat connections. Bagni Regina Giovanna, a coastal swimming spot, is 2.1 km from the hotel.

From Naples Capodichino Airport, a private transfer takes about an hour, or you can take a public bus to Sorrento. From Naples Central Station, the Circumvesuviana train runs regularly to Sorrento in about 1 hour 10 minutes. The hotel is in Piazza Tasso, Sorrento's central square, a short walk from the station. You can also arrive by car via the SS145, or by hydrofoil to Sorrento harbour. The hotel can arrange private transfers on request.

In the evening, the hotel's own venues are the highlight. Terrazza Vittoria offers open-air dining and drinks with views over the Bay of Naples, while Vittoria's Bar and La Pergola Bar à Champagne serve cocktails and champagne. For dinner, Terrazza Bosquet and L'Orangerie provide refined Mediterranean dishes. Afterward, a short 3-minute walk takes you to the Cloister of Saint Francis or Sorrento Municipal Park for a quiet stroll. Piazza Tasso, right at the hotel, is the natural center for an evening walk around the old town.
