A beautiful hotel just 2 minutes north of the main square in Sorrento. A bit of a hidden gem that isn't much to look at from the outside but is lovely inside. The bar area is very comfortable, and the pool with the lemon tress growing all around is fab. We stayed here for a week and had a lovely time. The rooms are very comfortable with very effective air conditioning, which was necessary while we were there. The staff were helpful and booked a restaurant nearby on my behalf. Breakfast was a buffet with something for everyone. It has a poolside bar where drinks and lunches can be had, and the staff there were great. Shout out to Rocco! Everywhere in Sorrento is only a 2/5/10 minute walk. I would seriously recommend staying here while in Sorrento.

We had an absolutely excellent stay at Hotel Antiche Mura in Sorrento. From start to finish, everything was wonderful. The rooms were beautiful, extremely clean, and very well maintained. Housekeeping did an amazing job throughout our stay, and the entire hotel always felt spotless. What really stood out, though, was the staff. Every single person we interacted with was incredibly kind, welcoming, and helpful. The bartender was especially amazing and made our time at the hotel even more enjoyable. The level of service from the entire team was exceptional. The location is also perfect. You are right in the heart of Sorrento and within easy walking distance of restaurants, shops, and everything you would want to see, while the hotel itself still feels relaxing and comfortable. We genuinely have zero complaints. It was one of the highlights of our trip, and we would stay here again without hesitation. Highly recommend!

Superb traditional Italian hotel, located in the centre of Sorrento, less than one minute walk from Piazza Tasso. The hotel was very comfortable and rooms were spacious and nicely furnished. There is an outside swimming pool and bar, with always plenty of sunbeds available, so no need to be up at 6.30am to reserve your place. The inclusive buffet breakfast was particularly good. There was an extensive choice of scrambled egg, pancakes, cereals, smoked salmon, yoghurts etc, as well as a delicious selection of home made cakes and pastries. For me, the stand out point was definitely how friendly all the staff at the hotel were. Nothing was too much trouble and they genuinely wanted to please.

Although our request for a room away from the elevator was not fulfilled, our stay was almost perfect. The reception/concierge staff were extremely polite and helpful with all our questions during our time. The pool and breakfast team including Rocco, Salvatore, and Nobody (yes, his name) were excellent and went above and beyond. Amazing people and exceptional service. The Comfort Room was the perfect size for a couple. Very clean and maintained daily. The hotel pool was a fantastic retreat from the heat (oppressive August heat). The hotel location is absolutely perfect with the main piazza for shopping and dining literally 2 minutes walking distance. The breakfast buffet had everything from eggs to pastries to coffee to fruit. One thing to note, water and soft drinks in your mini-bar are not free, whereas other places we stayed in Italy they were complimentary. My reviews are always listed to give travelers my honest perspective. I would highly recommend staying here.

An Absolutely Magical Family Stay at Antiche Mura Hotel Our family recently stayed at Antiche Mura Hotel in Sorrento with a group of 9 adults and 11 children, ranging in age from 6 to 17, and I honestly cannot say enough wonderful things about this hotel. From the moment we arrived, the entire staff was terrific. Everyone was warm, welcoming, attentive, and genuinely kind. Traveling with such a large group—and so many children—can be challenging, but the staff made everything feel effortless. They went above and beyond to make sure everyone felt comfortable and cared for. The hotel itself was simply magical. It has such a beautiful, special atmosphere that made our stay in Sorrento even more memorable. Our entire family thoroughly enjoyed every minute of our time there, and the hotel became one of the highlights of our trip. It is rare to find a place that works so wonderfully for both adults and children, but Antiche Mura truly exceeded our expectations. With a group of 20 people, we were amazed at how smoothly everything went and how genuinely happy everyone was. We absolutely loved Antiche Mura Hotel and would return in a heartbeat. If you are traveling to Sorrento with family—especially a large family group—this hotel should be at the very top of your list. Thank you to the entire staff for helping make our family trip so incredibly special and unforgettable!

Such a fantastic hotel! Feel like a boutique hotel with its pool area full of gorgeous lemon trees and such a fantastic amalfi coast vibe! Rooms are great and the hotel is right in the beginning of the old town so very walkable. The hotel and main town are fairly flat so from an accessibility perspective, this hotel is great. The breakfast was okay and would recommend having more vegetarian options.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The entire staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, especially Rocco, who greeted our baby every morning and always brought out the biggest smile. His kindness made our experience even more special. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Sorrento. Its central location made it easy to explore everything the city has to offer, while still providing a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere at night. The breakfast each morning was outstanding as well—definitely not to be missed. Overall, a wonderful experience and a 10/10 recommendation!
