We stayed for just one night at the Heritage Hotel, but it was an utterly flawless experience. Right from the moment we checked in, the hospitality was top-notch—we were even surprised with a complimentary room upgrade, which was such a wonderful gesture and made our stay together extra special! A special shout-out to Mario, who was amazingly kind and helpful. He took the time to give us fantastic recommendations on the best things to see in Split, where to eat, and great local tips to make the absolute most of our short time here. The hotel itself is charming, beautifully kept, and spotless. Every staff member we met was incredibly friendly and welcoming. We had an amazing time and would return in a heartbeat. Highly recommended! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

A boutique hotel with very personal service hidden behind main tourist area, but still short walking distance to the beach, harbour and old town. There is a supermarket just next door, which easy to buy anything that you need. Within few yards away there are decent restaurants and bar. The receptions are fantastic, they are very helpful to provide local informations and personalised our breakfast for our needs. The bathroom even have jacuzzi that helped to relief my legs after walking in town while day... I truly recommend this place if you visit Split.

My husband and I spent 3 nights at A Heritage Hotel and it was lovely. The hotel itself is historic, but rooms were large, clean, and the bathrooms had plenty of space. Every single staff member was extremely welcoming and accommodating. It is in a quiet neighborhood but only a short walk to the Old Town. Would definitely stay here again!

Due to an extraordinary situation, on arrival in Croatia, we were not able to use the Hotel. I can't comment on this. I explained the details fully to the owner, but they refused to help. Instead, they cancelled the Booking to enable the resale of the Room. I tried to discuss some form of compensation, even offering a credit for a booking in the future, but they're not willing to show any compassion. This shows the character of the owner.

Great location with parking next to the Old Town. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. Marta came out to greet us and assist with our luggage. They made sure everything was comfortable throughout our stay. The Heritage was exceptionally clean, with high-quality linens, comfortable pillows, and a very comfortable bed. Ivana brought a lovely breakfast to our room because the dining room was closed for renovations. I have traveled extensively and stayed in many places around the world, but we truly felt at home at The Heritage.

AMAZING SPOT! Clean rooms, incredible breakfast, awesome location by the port - Mario and Ivana were both fantastic as well - very kind, polite and very inviting! Super friendly and professional service. 5 stars in every way and would definitely stay there again. Plus, unlimited delicious coffee lol.

We couldn’t have asked for a warmer welcome to Split — it felt like staying with friends. Mario greeted us at the gate and showed us around our room, and Marta gave us a great dinner recommendation plus an easy plan for the ferry the next morning. We loved watching the swifts circle outside our window in the morning. Our only regret was not booking an extra night. Toplo preporučujem. Hvala!

Where can I eat near A Heritage Split?

For eating near A Heritage Split, you can start at the hotel’s own Cafe and Restaurant. Just a short walk away, the brew pub Plan B Pub serves drinks and food, and Tapas Toc is about five minutes on foot. You’ll also find Restaurant Konoba and Lanterna within a few minutes’ walk, plus Caffe Bar Dalton for coffee or a snack. These all sit close to Baeviće Beach and the old town, so you can easily pop out for a bite between sightseeing. If you want more choice, the city center is just a 300-meter stroll from the hotel.
