Ahhh, how can I describe this place! This hotel is in the perfect location, it’s easy to access everything in town. The service was excellent. We dropped off our suitcases in the morning and came back in the evening for self check-in. The host offered us water, drinks, and even breakfast at a nearby restaurant the next day , all complimentary! It was also very easy to reach the host through WhatsApp messages or calls. The room was clean, modern, and had great lighting. I also loved how they preserved part of the old Split city wall in the design, which made the stay feel even more special. This will definitely be our first choice if we come back to Split again. Thank you!

Perfect Location and Wonderful Host in Split We absolutely loved our stay at Grgur Ninski Rooms. From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The owner, Mladen, kindly met us at the airport and drove us to the property, which was such a great start to our trip. He was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful, giving us excellent information about Split and the surrounding area. He truly was the perfect host. The location could not be better — right beside the Golden Gate entrance to Diocletian’s Palace and just inside the walled city. Everything is within easy walking distance, including restaurants, bars, attractions, and the waterfront. Our room was spotless, comfortable, and very well maintained. We were lucky enough to have a balcony overlooking the street, which added to the atmosphere and charm of staying in the Old Town. Despite the central location, the room was surprisingly quiet at night and we slept very well. Breakfast was included at a nearby restaurant just a minute’s walk away, with several great choices available each morning. If you are looking for excellent value, an unbeatable location, and a welcoming host, I highly recommend Grgur Ninski Rooms. Thank you again, Mladen, for making our stay in Split so enjoyable.

The location was great! Easy to get to once in old town, close to everything. Parking was so convenient with the host! The room was prepared well. The host was super helpful with transportation and tips on things to do and places to eat. We enjoyed the breakfast as well! I Would recommend staying here and booking directly through the host!!

Couldn't imagine a better place to stay at to explore Split! The hotel is such a gem, right in the middle of the historic palace. The owners Milka and Mladen are such great hosts, provided amazing recommendations and made the experience really personal. They turned this beautiful old building into an extremely well designed little oasis. Hope to come back soon!

Location can’t be beat. Milka was very helpful. The rooms have thin walls though so you can hear those above and below you, but other than that very clean and private. Overall one of the best spots to stay in split.
