Wonderful interaction with the owner/manager available through WhatsApp upon arrival (number on entrance) gave us fantastic food recommendations for the area and we had our best dinner in split last night thanks to him! Perfect location, everything is walkable to see the city and surrounding areas! Room is large with a nice big bathroom and excellent shower and plenty of storage if you have a longer stay! We are sad our entire stay wasn’t at this location because we took so many Ubers too and from our old hotel lactation north of the city! This was perfect! 💕

Excellent location, just a short walk through the park to all the shops etc. Great room, clean and good size. Would have liked a full length mirror in the room somewhere close to a plug outlet to make it easier to do hair and makeup etc. Great communication and a short drive to the airport. We found the locals so friendly and service was very efficient. We will be back to do the things we couldn’t fit into our week.

Pro - very close to the Golden Gate and is easy to find. Check in is straightforward. The room is on the first floor above ground so it wasn't the most difficult thing to lift our luggages up.Con - (1) the actual room looks nothing like the pictures online. The online pictures (taken with wide lens mode) show the room to be much larger and brighter, whereas the room is in fact very small and relatively poorly lit. For one, the bed is literally two footsteps away from the door, and we were struggling to find space to open our luggages.(2) One of the beds in the room is in fact a sofa bed, but the property did not declare this when we booked. We spent a lot of time trying to book places which do not use sofa beds but actual beds, and so we can't help but feel that we were misled and misrepresented to.(3) There is a bit of noise. The property is right next to the road and near a pub with some rowdy youths at times.(4) Facilities are minimal. There is only one chair, and the table is very small. Everything else is basic. Nothing luxurious about it despite its name and the photos.(5) There is no lift at the property. We would not have chosen this property if we had a second chance.

If there is no star option, will definitely opt for no star! Asking for cleaning charge right after checkin saying hotels.com missed to put the charge! Threaten us to remove our stuff if not paying in advance. Ridiculous service and unacceptable attitude. Super noisy as the bar just right outside the building entrance, and it is not closing until like 3am.

I stayed here in June with my parents and brother and the room was very clean, spacious and modern. The location is amazing, it is walking distance from most places in Split, we barely had to take public transport. The service was excellent and we got a response immediately whenever we needed help. The building itself has no lights in the hallway but that wasn't really an issue for us.

It would be 5 stars for the amazing location. All stars removed for the extreme mold smell coming from the main bedroom carpet and the bathroom shower, both. It was actually alarming to sleep there, worried for my health breathing so much mold. It was so strange, as the room looked very nice and was well built. Other signs that the cleanliness wasn’t up to standard was a very thin sheet over a disgustingly stained brown mattress with hairs scattered across it, and stained linens in the closet. I bitterly regretted checking that mattress as we had no choice but to sleep there our first night, we got in so late. We paid for two nights but just left the next day as it was too terrible to stay in. Hopefully it was just the apartment we were in and not all of them. Mold is a serious health concern.

The room was a bit smaller than I anticipated but the shower was great. The location is amazing, just outside the old town. Overall a pleasant stay.

Fantastic location in the center of Split. Easy check-in and extremely welcoming staff. They even provide you with a thorough list of activities and local restaurants! The rooms are very comfortable and have every amenity you could want. If you want to enjoy everything Split has to offer, I would highly recommend staying here.
