Hotel Bondi has its own bistro and bar, plus a beer garden, right on Campbell Parade. For other options, the beachfront strip is packed with places like Bondi Icebergs, North Bondi Fish, and Sean's. A short walk to Hall Street brings you to Gertrude & Alice and Bondi Hardware. You can also try Fishmongers Bondi or Macelleria for casual meals near the beach. The hotel's bistro serves pub classics, and the bar offers drinks and cocktails.
Hotel Bondi sits right on Campbell Parade, directly opposite Bondi Beach, so the sand and surf are your front yard. The strip is lined with cafés, pubs and casual eateries, and the Bondi to Coogee coastal walk starts nearby. The hotel itself has a bistro, a beer garden and the Curlewis Bar, all with a beach view. For a change of scene, Bondi Junction is a short bus ride away, and the city's big sights like the Opera House are about 6.6 km off. It's a lively, beach-first neighbourhood where most days revolve around the water and the promenade.
From Sydney Airport, a taxi or ride-share takes about 25 to 45 minutes to Hotel Bondi, depending on traffic. For public transport, take the Airport Train (T8) to Central Station, transfer to a train to Bondi Junction, then catch bus 333 or 380 to Bondi Beach. The hotel is opposite the beach on Campbell Parade, a short walk from the bus stop. From Bondi Junction Station, the same buses run frequently down to the beach. A pre-booked transfer is another direct option with your luggage.
For an evening out, start at the hotel's own Curlewis Bar and beer garden, with live music on Sundays and DJs on Fridays and Saturdays. The bistro serves pub classics like Wagyu rump, and the bottle shop has a wide range of drinks. Nearby on Campbell Parade, Hotel Ravesis offers a rooftop with ocean views, and Beach Road Hotel has a dog-friendly beer garden. Bar 34 keeps a dive-bar feel with a live band room. The beachfront promenade is a short stroll for a sunset walk before or after drinks.
Hotel Bondi is a great base for beach life, sitting right opposite Bondi Beach with the coastal walk and cafés on your doorstep. For Sydney's famous sights, you'll need to travel: Mrs Macquarie's Chair is 5.9 km away, the Royal Botanic Garden Sydney 6.1 km, Hyde Park 6.2 km, Sydney Tower Eye 6.5 km, Sydney Opera House 6.6 km, Chinatown Sydney 6.7 km, and Darling Harbour and SEA LIFE Sydney Aquarium 7.1 km. Buses from Bondi Junction Station connect you to the city, and taxis or ride-hailing are straightforward. It's a convenient base for enjoying Bondi itself, with city sights a short trip away.
