We had the best stay at the Intercontinental Sydney. It is a PERFECT location. But so much more: | We were especially impressed with Bonnie, Nigel and Greg at concierge for their patience in giving us their time and A+ advice. We were even given prams available to borrow for our stay. |We were so impressed with our room service as well. I cannot say enough how welcomed we felt, and every night we were tucked in with tea and a turn down service. I wish I had asked his name, but a sweet gentleman working reception literally chased down my son. I thought we might be in trouble because my son did not have slippers on, but instead he wanted to give my son toys. Someone PLEASE tell this gentleman he made my son’s day, and made this mama heart so full. What a lovely stay. Would highly recommend to any family coming to enjoy Sydney.

Very nice location in a beautiful historic building, with friendly staff and a warm welcome. We arrived early and appreciated being able to use the arrival lounge for refreshments. We also enjoyed the swimming pool and used it twice during our stay. The only suggestion I have is regarding the cleaning service. It felt a bit inconsistent—on some days tissues weren’t refilled, on others the coffee wasn’t restocked. These are small details, but for a 5‑star hotel they’re worth mentioning.

Stayed for three nights. Hotel highlights: Great view from Room and the pool. The hotel overlooks the botanical gardens and government house. The rooms were nice and quiet. Promptly serviced and cleaned daily, we missed the cleaning service on day two and were contacted via text asking if we’d like them to come back and do it. The beds were comfy. 5 minute walk to circular Quay - we walked everywhere - 5 minutes from the ferries at circular quay. 2 minutes to the botanical gardens. Breakfast was an absolute pleasure, sitting in the conservatory overlooking the beautiful old, exquisitely crafted sandstone building of the treasury. We loved the filtered water fountain near the lifts to fill our bottles regularly. The staff were outstanding. Very friendly, helpful, professional and very responsive to our requirements. We would stay again!

I stayed for 4 days and 3 nights, and I genuinely enjoyed every single moment of my stay. I was celebrating my birthday, and the team made it extra special by surprising me with a birthday cake and a bottle of Prosecco waiting in my room. Such a thoughtful touch! My room was on the 10th floor, and the view was absolutely stunning. Waking up every morning to the Harbour Bridge was unforgettable. The facilities were fantastic—the gym and pool were both 10/10. The breakfast buffet offered a great variety of high-quality food, and the staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and always happy to help. From check-in to check-out, everyone made me feel so welcome. I truly loved my stay and wouldn't hesitate to come back. Highly recommended!

Absolutely Awesome... Fabulous, friendly & helpful service. The Club Manager was amazing, she was friendly, welcoming & made us feel special 💕 The whole hotel, gym & our room were spotless. The views from our room, The club & Aster for Breakfast were simply spectacular. The ease & the proximately to all the Sydney CBD has to offer was second to none 👍🏻 Only thing we could wish for was for the Intercontinental Sydney to have its own Beauty/Massage Spa in house... 🤞🏻 We loved it so much we are already looking at planning our next trip ! 🙏🏻

Another wonderful stay at the InterContinental! The hotel is in a fantastic location, making it easy to explore the surrounding area, and the views are absolutely stunning, adding something special to the entire experience. The staff are always warm, friendly, and genuinely welcoming, consistently providing excellent service. The rooms are spacious, spotless, comfortable, and beautifully maintained, making it easy to unwind after a busy day. The gym may be on the smaller side, but it’s very well equipped with everything you need for a solid workout. With its prime location, beautiful views, comfortable rooms, and exceptional hospitality, the InterContinental is a hotel I would happily return to again and again. Highly recommended!

We recently stayed at the Intercontinental Hotel in Sydney for a total of seven nights—five nights upon arrival and two nights before our departure. The experience was exceptional from start to finish. The hotel’s location is perfect, just a short 3 to 5-minute walk to the iconic Sydney Harbour, making it incredibly convenient for sightseeing and enjoying the waterfront. Check-in and check-out were seamless and efficient, thanks to the friendly and knowledgeable staff who went out of their way to make us feel welcome. One highlight of our stay was the brunch—undoubtedly one of the best I've ever had. The rooftop bar and restaurant offered stunning views of the Sydney Harbour Bridge and the Sydney Opera House, creating the perfect backdrop for a memorable dining experience. Our room was lovely, comfortable, and well-appointed, providing a relaxing retreat after our busy days exploring the city. Without hesitation, we will be booking our next trip to Sydney at the Intercontinental. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a luxurious stay with unbeatable location and top-notch service.
