Was so surprised bout how amazing the Stamford Plaza was. I chose it for cost reasons only but I would stay again in a heart beat. So easy being right next to the airport and short 10 min walk to trains into city. Bed and room was super comfy and clean. Room service was awesome and reception was so helpful and friendly. Late checkout (for small fee) was so appreciated. Can't wait to come back. Thanks for the awesome sleep and making my weekend in Sydney a treat!

The property is located very close to the airport, which made travelling very convenient. We stayed for 2 nights and had a comfortable experience overall. There were not many eateries nearby, but the hotel’s location near the highway made it easy to travel to different outing and sightseeing areas around Sydney. The Mascot railway station train line is also very close by, which is an added advantage for public transport access. However, you would still need a vehicle to travel around comfortably.

I recently stayed at the Stamford Sydney Airport and found it to be a mixed experience. While the hotel has some notable strengths, there were a few areas that could certainly use some improvement. The Highlights Prime Location: The location is excellent, making it a very convenient choice for anyone needing quick access to the airport. Room Comfort & Cleanliness: I was pleased to find that the rooms are nice and free of any unpleasant odors. The cleaning was consistently above average—not quite perfect, but certainly maintained to a good standard. Areas for Improvement Room Lighting: The lighting in the guest rooms felt a bit dim, which might be a drawback if you prefer a brighter space. Bathroom Facilities: The bathroom felt quite dated. The sink featured old-fashioned separate taps for hot and cold water rather than a modern mixer. Additionally, the shower performance was disappointing due to very low water pressure, and I found the lack of a hairdryer in the bathroom to be an inconvenience. Amenities: The toiletries provided were just "okay," and it was frustrating that bottled water was only provided once during my two-day stay; fresh water should ideally be replenished daily. Parking Experience: The parking situation was poor. The area is very limited and the facility itself feels quite congested and dated, with rough walls that make it uncomfortable and difficult to navigate. Note: As I did not order any food during my stay, I cannot offer a review regarding the hotel's dining options.

We had a lovely stay at Stamford Plaza Sydney Airport. The walk to the hotel was quick and easy and check-in was a breeze. Our room on a high floor was spacious and comfortable, with very comfy beds. Breakfast was included and was a lovely start to the two days we stayed. The staff were friendly and welcoming, making the whole stay easy and enjoyable. We’ll definitely be back!

Stayed here for one night before onward travel. Had a family room, which was really large and spacious. Didn’t hear any noise from any other guest. Really comfy beds, good amenities. Breakfast included and had a good choice of food. Coffee machine was broken but waitress made us one from another machine. Work available. Had a good lounge for after check out. We were given a good complimentary late check out. Which was great as we were travelling with children. We also booked the shuttle service for airport transfer. Would highly recommend his hotel

Good breakfast buffet. Room was dated and dark (not enough lights) for my liking but clean. Gym is good, but swimming pool is outdoors and not heated and our stay was wintertime.

It was fine, but that’s about it. The furniture and beds are very old and feel quite average. The room itself felt bare — you can see where there may have once been additional pieces like a table or lounge chair, but they’re long gone. Overall, everything is very basic and comes across as cheap for what is meant to be a higher-end hotel. The property feels dated and tired, with a general lack of care throughout. Even the minibar was pretty dismal. I wouldn’t recommend it, especially given the price point.

We have now stayed at each hotel near the airport and this is the best place to stay at Sydney airport for us. Very nice clean, appointed rooms and the restaurant down stars was awesome! Incredible steaks and good prompt service makes a big difference when you don't have to go anywhere for a great meal.
