The hotel's own options cover you well: Cafe Laurel serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and there's a bar, lobby bar, and the Evergarden Restaurant for Chinese dishes. Outside, Songjiang Road and the lanes behind it are packed with office-district eateries, including beef noodle shops, Japanese set lunch places, and coffee bars. For evening dining, walk south into the Linsen and Nanjing lanes for izakaya and grilled food. Yu Shan Ge, a restaurant, is about 1.1 km away. You can also rely on the hotel's restaurant and bar for a straightforward meal close by.
The Miniatures Museum of Taiwan is a five-minute walk and Huashan 1914 Creative Park is six minutes away, giving you a quiet museum and a lively arts zone close by. Songjiang Nanjing Metro is a four-minute walk for getting around, and Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall is a 25-minute walk from the door.
From Taipei Songshan Airport, the hotel is about a 6-minute drive or a short taxi ride. The closest metro is Songjiang Nanjing Station, about a 4-minute walk from the hotel. From Taipei Main Station, take the Green line subway from Zhongshan to Songjiang Nanjing, which takes about 2 minutes. The whole trip from Taipei Main Station is around 13 minutes. The hotel also offers an airport shuttle.
In the evening, start at the hotel's own Bar and Lobby bar, and the on-site Restaurant (Cafe Laurel) serves dinner. For local flavor, the Linsen North lanes, a short walk south, fill with izakaya and small restaurants. The Miniatures Museum of Taiwan is five minutes on foot and Huashan 1914 Creative Park six, both good for an evening stroll. Xingtian Temple's underground fortune-telling street offers a distinctively Taipei evening experience. For a night market, Songshan Raohe Night Market is 4.5 km away, and Shi Lin Night Market is a short ride on the MRT from Songjiang Nanjing station.
The Evergreen Laurel is a solid base for exploring Taipei. Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall is a 25-minute walk away, and the metro stations right nearby mean you can reach farther sights like Taipei 101 (3.6 km) or Elephant Mountain (4.7 km) by transit. Daan Park and Taipei North Gate are each 2.2 km out, a short ride. For a relaxed evening, Shi Lin Night Market is listed among nearby places. The hotel's own restaurant and bar cover meal times, and the metro network lets you roam the city easily.
