10 “Best for foreigners” I had a great stay at GoldInn Taipei and would highly recommend it, especially for its convenience and accessibility. The hotel is very close to public transport, which makes getting around the city extremely easy. The staff deserve special mention—they are polite, efficient, and quick to assist. My fridge stopped working on the second day, but the moment I informed the front desk, they reacted immediately and resolved the issue without any hassle. Really appreciated their prompt service. Another big plus is the food options right downstairs. There’s a McDonald’s just below the hotel, perfect for a quick bite. Next to it, there’s an uncle selling delicious 蔥抓餅 and 菜包. If you love 水煎包 or just want something affordable and filling, this spot is a gem—great value for money! Overall, GoldInn Taipei offers great convenience, friendly service, and easy access to tasty local snacks. A solid choice for travelers on a budget or anyone who wants comfort and accessibility.

Positive: -Friendly staff -clean room -good service Negative: -badly insulated, I heard every noise from upstairs and barely slept one of the four nights I stayed -the AC is very loud as well but I had to keep it on because without it the room got very warm quickly (I visited in winter)

My family stayed a couple of nights and were very well looked after. The staff were very friendly, attentive, and helpful with things like booking aiport transport. There were two front desks on different floors and they were staffed for most of the day and night. We had breakfast included which had hot and cold as well as traditional and continental style food. The room was small with little floorspace for opening bags but new and very clean. The bathrooms were spacious and very modern. The location was just ok with subway stations a bit of a walk away but the street is bustling and has a local feel.

Rooms are a great value for the price. Books up quick on the weekend. Unfortunately not the best neighborhood but 5 starts on the soundproofing. Definitely a top notch job filter out the noise that many of the other hotels in the area cannot. If you don’t get good sleep here it’s all on you. 24 snack bar and 24 desk service. Hard to beat.

Despite the somewhat dicey exterior, the interior of the hotel was very nice , modern and clean. Staff were super friendly and there are great amenities which include a small gym, free laundry and snack bar. The area is also very convenient, just minutes away from MRT yellow line and lots of shops and restaurants just downstairs. Some complaints would be that wifi was extremely slow and the TV is a bit old so there was no option to use Netflix, etc. Also, the soundproofing was not great, we could hear the noises from outside pretty clearly. Overall, however, I would recommend this hotel if you're not after anything super fancy. The prices were very reasonable during our stay and we felt we got more than we paid for.

Doesn't look like much from the outside but the rooms on 7F are quiet. The snack lounge and laundry service are very nice extras that were unexpected. Friendly staff. I'll likely stay here again!

We booked a double deluxe room for 6 nights. Room is spacious enough for 2 open luggage. I like that they have big bottled shampoo and body wash not sachet. They have 24 hours free bar which has different steamed buns, noodles, tea eggs, beverages. Room are clean and if you just want to chill out in your room, it's perfect. Wifi is not that stable though. Love the bath tub. Train station is a bit far. Maybe 500 meters (Shuanglian Station). But hey, if you wanted to stretch before going out the entire day, this is good right? Plus there's a lot of resto and street food nearby. Can I just say that their self service laundry is the best thing ever since I’ve been traveling for too long now. And it’s free including use of detergent!! Would recommend this place. Note: They are strict with 3pm as check in time regardless if there’s available room or not.
