We chose the The Coast Beachfront Hotel based on location and the rave reviews posted about the resort and the staff. The reviews were bang on. The resort was exactly as we hoped, the place was impeccably maintained and the staff was excellent. The cleaning staff paid attention to when we left our room and promptly cleaned so we returned to a spotless suite every morning. Breakfast was delivered to our room each morning, which was a really nice touch. The staff are constantly maintaining the facility, the pool, the grounds and the beach. The place is immaculate. But more so, the location on the beach, and on the edge of town was fantastic. It was quiet and private, with a million things to do and dozens of places to eat, just steps away from the resort. We will go back the The Coast again. This was the most memorable vacation we have ever taken. Thank you Coast Beachfront staff for such a great experience.

We were in town for my son's wedding with about a dozen folks (including the bride and groom) staying at The Coast. And the consensus was... The Coast Rocks! Absolutely fabulous. Great rooms. Incredibly comfortable bed. Right on the beach. Lovely pool. Continental breakfast delivered to our room (get the pineapple and the banana bread)! Staff was AMAZING! Special shout out to Deijan, Maybel and Stephanie at the front desk. These guys worked extra hard to ensure a good time was had by all. And it was. We'll be back!

Tamarindo and The Coast was the last spot on our tour of Costa Rica and it proved a perfect place to stay. The rooms are spacious and equipped with a small kitchenette and very comfortable beds. There is a gorgeous pool in a very pretty garden and then a couple of steps takes you directly onto the beach. Private sunbeds and security mean you can relax on the beach and swim knowing your belongings are safe. The hotel has a quiet family focused vibe which we loved. 10 mins walk gets you into the centre of Tamarindo and lots of eating options. It proved to be a relaxing and wonderful place to stay! Thank you so much to all the staff.

Five stars all-around. Literally 60 seconds to our beautiful back-door beach. Extremely helpful and available staff, a special shout-out to Diejon! The included breakfast was healthy and tasty. Room was meticulously maintained daily during our extended stay. Did not miss on-site dining since highly rated restaurants are right across the street. Our wonderful experience in Costa Rica is calling us back to the Coast Beachfront Hotel.

We had an amazing stay at The Coast for our honeymoon!! Being steps from the ocean while also having the option to be in a pool was so great. We were welcomed into our room with a bottle of wine and a vase of flowers to celebrate our honeymoon, had breakfast delivered to our door every morning (coffee and fruit), rented surfboards right at the front desk and lounged in the hotel guest loungers on the beach. Deijan was a stand out for us as well - he always greeted us when we walked by the front desk and remembered our names right from the start. We had a wonderful time & we’re so sad to leave!

This hotel was hands down the perfect place for first timers in Costa Rica!! The location is excellent with private beach access, pool, and just outside the busy downtown of Tamarindo but still within a 5 minute walk. There is breakfast brought to your room every morning and the rooms include a stove, large refrigerator, and pots and pans so that you can also cook anything if needed! The staff is extremely friendly and there is security 24/7. Deijan at the front desk was wonderfully helpful and remembers every guest’s name. Added bonus was that they coordinated a driving service to and from the airport for us. I could not recommend this hotel enough for a relaxing couple vacation!

We loved the Coast hotel! You will need to leave for food options and the breakfast provided is minimal, but enough to start the day. Heading into the main town was easiest along the sand. We walked on the beach and cut up at several spots to get to the main Tamarindo area with shops and restaurants. Everyone was pleasant and helpful. The rooms were clean. We stayed in the beachfront bungalow, and our friends were in the beachfront room. I liked their covered patio better than our open air grassy area, so that’s where we ate breakfast each morning. Theirs also had a king where ours was a queen. I wouldn’t pay more for the bungalow. The inside was bigger, but we don’t spend much time in our room.
