We just had a wonderful two night stay at the Sea Palace. We had a beautiful oceanside suite with beautiful views of the bay. The poolside and beachside chairs and service were spectacular, even the beach chairs had a button for service! How can one beat a Sicilian arancini and Etna Spritz by the ocean?! Breakfast was a lovely buffet with eggs ordered your way, and the restaurant choices on site were both wonderful. I particularly appreciated the location, which was on the ocean yet super close to the funicular to the city up top. My only feedback would be the upcharges for "dishes" beyond just eggs in the morning at breakfast, and the exorbitant quotes on excursions you could book outside of them for far less. Other than that, a near perfect experience, would highly recommend.

I must admit that the location and the staff's service were excellent. All of the staff members were friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. I am giving 3 stars mainly because, considering this is a 5-star hotel, the overall guest experience did not meet my expectations. For example, there was no complimentary bottled water available at the beach area, which I would have expected from a hotel of this standard. In addition, we were celebrating our honeymoon, but there was no welcome amenity or complimentary bottle of wine (or any special gesture) in our room to acknowledge the occasion. F&B, lack of options in the menues among the venues. Both quality and variety of food. Prior to our arrival, we contacted the hotel to arrange airport transportation. We were disappointed to learn that this was not a service offered by the hotel, leaving us to organise transport at the last minute. Lastly, during check-out, we were surprised to discover that we had been charged €375 for an "employee service" fee without any prior consultation or explanation. It is not appropriate to impose such a significant charge without obtaining the guest's prior consent. Guests should have the freedom to tip staff based on the quality of the service they personally receive. While the staff and the location were both excellent, I believe there is room for improvement in the overall level of service and attention to detail expected from a 5-star property.

The location of the hotel is unmatched. You are sitting in front of a cove and have access to one of the most scenic beaches. Then you have the staff which are extremely nice and helpful. Everyone says hello to you, everyone is friendly, and they will go out of their way to make your stay pleasurable. There is almost a “say yes” to any request you might have. The food is also great. We had the pizza 3 times and couldn’t stop eating it. The rooms are fairly spacious and each of them have an ocean front view which is spectacular. It was the best view we had in Italy. I highly recommend staying here. Yes it’s a 5 star hotel and it’s pricey but it’s also worth the price.

Beautiful hotel, truly 5 star experience from the attentiveness of the staff to room quality / breakfast / beach area. Everything is done with class and thoughtfully managed. My one complaint is not with the hotel but with the town itself - Taormina is incredibly crowded in August, it was borderline painful. The gondola to the town from the hotel is 15 EUR per person for round trip and around dinner time the line took 30-45 min minimum to get up and once you are up there is shoulder to shoulder. If anything the hotel was a welcome escape. Our room was a bit noisy on the first level next to the bar but had a great plunge pool and view to compensate for it. Veronica was very helpful and attentive. Food was great - breakfast some of the best we have had in a while. Lunch a bit pricey but good quality. Same for dinner.

We had a short but fabulous visit to the Mazzaro Sea Palace. The facilities are great: they feel new, are beautiful. The food was great (we ate one night at the bar, another night at Armonia and breakfast two days). But the best was the staff and service. They were so nice, joyful, and helpful. It was fantastic. We did not partake of the beach or the pool, but we certainly enjoyed the view. If you want 5 star service, in a less crowded, almost off the beaten path locale, with beach, pool, spa, dining options, this is great.

Loved our stay here. We considered staying at the Belmond (also on the beach) but chose the suite with plunge pool here instead. Our room was amazing, along with housekeeping. The suites are also in the perfect location. You cannot see sunrise bur it’s a very easy access to the beach and hotel amenities. The beach chairs were super luxurious and always made available no matter what time of day. We also loved the location, being that we were beachfront and super quick walk to the cable car. We went into town 1-2 times per day. Katarina from the concierge was remarkable. She asked all of the right questions to hone in on what we were looking for. Also, Arianna, Giuseppe and Gracia were amazing from the bar team! So glad we chose this hotel.

From the moment we arrived at Mazzarò Sea Palace, we knew this stay would be unforgettable: every single staff member—from the front desk and concierge to housekeeping, restaurant, bar, beach, and concierge—was genuinely warm, attentive, and consistently went above and beyond to make us feel like cherished friends rather than just guests. Nestled directly on the Bay of Mazzarò, the hotel’s setting is simply breathtaking, with panoramic sea views from the rooms, terraces, pool, and private beach that made each sunrise and sunset feel like a postcard come to life. Our room was elegant, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed, with a balcony that framed the bay, while breakfast on the terrace, drinks by the water, and delicious meals throughout our stay added to the sense of relaxed luxury. With direct beach access, a beautiful pool, a soothing wellness area, and easy transport into Taormina’s historic center, Mazzarò Sea Palace perfectly combines serenity and convenience, and thanks to its extraordinary team and spectacular location, this was not just a vacation but an experience we will never forget. Consider this, they called me the day before we left and asked what time we would like our car brought up and made breakfast boxes complete with double espressos since we were leaving at 7 am - NEVER have I experienced such genuine service!

An absolutely outstanding stay. The Mazzarò Sea Palace combines a breathtaking location with impeccable service and exceptional attention to detail. Every member of the staff was genuinely welcoming, professional, and always willing to go the extra mile to make our stay memorable. Marilena, the GM was superb, Federica at reception delightful and Nino at the restaurant was absolutely fantastic. The rooms are beautifully designed, spotless, and offer spectacular sea views. Breakfast was excellent, with a wide selection of high-quality local and international options, and the restaurants served outstanding cuisine in a truly stunning setting. The private beach, the peaceful atmosphere, and the overall elegance of the hotel make it one of the finest luxury properties in Sicily. A perfect place to relax while enjoying the beauty of Taormina and the surrounding coastline. We left with wonderful memories and will certainly return. Highly recommended.
