Casa Bassa has its own restaurant, bar, snack bar, and café for easy meals. Nearby, La Pepica is just a 1-minute walk and serves Spanish cuisine, while Mediterrània (3 min walk), Marina Beach Club (4 min walk), Mala Bar (4 min walk), and Terraza A Babor (2 min walk) are all close options. For a classic beachside bite, you are also a short stroll from the Cabanyal neighborhood, where you can find more casual spots. The area around the hotel is lively with food choices, so you can easily walk to a different place each night.
The hotel sits right on the seafront promenade. The beach is steps away, with Platja del Cabanyal-Les Arenes just a 1-minute walk and Malvarrosa Beach a short 16-minute stroll. Around you, Marina Real and the America's Cup Building are about a 3-minute walk, and the Port of Valencia is about 3.5 km away. The immediate streets are full of dining options like La Pepica, Mediterrània, Mala Bar, and Terraza A Babor, all within a few minutes' walk. To explore the city center's cathedral or Torres de Serranos, you can take a taxi or ride-hailing for the roughly 4.5 km trip.
From Valencia Airport, take the Line 5 subway from Aeroport to Marítim station, about 33 minutes; the hotel is a short walk from there, with a total trip around 50 minutes. A taxi or ride-hailing trip takes about 17 minutes for the 15.4 km drive. You can also take the L150 bus to Plaça d'Espanya and then the 92 bus to Doctor Lluch - Setmana Santa Marinera, about 1h 18m total. From Valencia Cabanyal station, it's an 18-minute walk, and Maritim-Serreria station is 17 minutes away. A pre-booked airport transfer can also bring you directly to the hotel.
For evenings, the hotel itself has a bar, cafe, restaurant, and snack bar for a relaxed bite. Walk a few minutes to Marina Beach Club, La Pepica, Mediterrània, Mala Bar, or Terraza A Babor for more options. Marina Real is 3 minutes away for a waterfront wander, and Platja de la Malvarrosa is a 16-minute stroll. Oceanogràfic is 2.5 km away if you want to see the aquarium in the evening, a short taxi or ride.
Casa Bassa is an excellent base for the beach and the city's modern landmarks. You can walk to Platja de la Malvarrosa in 16 minutes, while Oceanogràfic València and Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias are a 2.5 km trip, ideal by taxi or ride-hailing. The historic center, including Valencia Cathedral (4.6 km) and Torres de Serranos (4.8 km), is farther, so plan a short drive or transit ride. With the beach right there and key sights within easy reach, you can split your days between sun and sightseeing.
