We had an amazing stay here. Rooms are lovely and ours had a little private terrace area opening up into a beautiful outdoor atrium area. The only small negative is it would be nice to have a proper shower cubicle rather than climbing into the bath.The hotel is very conveniently located, in a quieter wide open area but with all the sightseeing areas within 10 mins walk. Nice not to stay in the really busy, overcrowded areas. Best of all was the service. They were all so helpful and friendly and made our stay very special. Highly recommended.

Stayed here with my husband and we had an excellent experience. I would definitely stay here again. The staff were excellent from the car pickup to the front desk, servers and housekeeping. The room was beautiful and the included breakfast was very good. We also enjoyed the Bodyna Spa and an excellent meal at their restaurant, Ampar, for our wedding anniversary. Location was convenient to everything for our week of sightseeing and navigating the buses were super convenient for anything too far to walk. Room was quiet. My only discomfort was that the air didn't seem to work well and the room was quite warm at night. They did bring us a fan which helped some.

We had a wonderful 7-night stay here. The room was clean and comfortable, featuring a cozy bed, an espresso machine, and a great bathroom complete with a bathtub. The facilities were a huge plus—we really enjoyed the hot sauna, steam room, indoor pool, and the mini gym (which has just enough equipment for a quick workout). The location is super convenient: less than 10 minutes from town, with several excellent restaurants right in the neighborhood. To top it off, all the staff members were friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. Highly recommended!

Once again I returned to my fact city and favourite hotel. This was a short 3 night break with my sister and we enjoyed our stay. The first time I visited this hotel was in 2007/08 and have so many visits since then that I have lost count. I have returned numerous times with my husband, friends and siblings. I enjoyed rooms suck as the deluxe dreamer, superior, family suite and junior suite and all rooms we was great. The renovations are complete now and the hotel is bright and fresh.|We ate at the Ampar restaurant and the food was amazing. All staff were very attentive and friendly namely Nico. Please give this guy a bonus he deserves it.|Unfortunately we left on the day Argentina were planning España as I would have loved to enjoy in the football celebrations and watch Spain beat Argentina

My stay at Hospes Palau de la Mar was exceptional from beginning to end. This was my first time visiting Spain, let alone Valencia, and I’m so glad I chose this hotel. I would especially like to thank Chiara and Agathe, who went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable. I had a bad fall shortly after arriving and was struggling with severe knee pain, making it difficult to walk. They were incredibly kind, attentive, and genuinely caring, always looking for ways to accommodate me and ensure I was comfortable. As a hijabi woman, I also deeply appreciated how inclusive and considerate the entire team was. Whether it was the reception staff or the spa team, everyone made a real effort to accommodate my needs, particularly regarding access to the spa and jacuzzi. I never felt like I was asking for too much—everyone treated me with warmth, respect, and genuine kindness, and that meant a lot. The hotel itself is stunning. It beautifully blends the charm of a historic building with elegant modern design. Everything was impeccably clean, peaceful, and maintained to a very high standard. The location is another huge advantage. It’s right in the heart of Valencia, with most attractions, restaurants, and shops just a short walk away, making it the perfect base for exploring the city. Luxury hotels are remembered for more than their facilities, they’re remembered for the people. The team at Hospes Palau de la Mar turned what could have been a difficult trip into a truly memorable one. Thank you to everyone, especially Chiara and Agathe, for making my first visit to Spain such a wonderful experience. I would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Valencia.

Warm welcoming and spotlessly clean. Allowed in early and were very welcoming. Haven't tried all the facilities yet but it's in a good location for the sights - Cuitat Vella, Jardia del Turia, Russafa, etc. Two metro stops close by - Colon and Alameda. So super easy to get around and to/from the airport (especially useful if your airline forgets to send your luggage on the same plane!!!). A nice spa on site with a free hours access per day. Nice but expensive breakfasts. Spacious room, plenty of storage for a 3 day stay and plenty of bathroom space/ towels/robes etc.

Absolutely superb. Just spent a Long weekend to celebrate a special birthday with my wife. We were treated to complementary sparkling wine. The spa was a welcome rest at the end of the day. The breakfast was to a very high standard with plenty of options. Our room was well laid out with a terrace. . The location was also superb for getting to the historic Centre as well as the more modern places of the city with a train station and bus routes nearby. Would certainly come back to this hotel when we are next in Valencia.

The rooms are better than pictured. Honestly very very nicely designed. Great room amenities too. The staff have been great, attentive and friendly. The gym is average, or below average but fine. The spa area is decent but sauna is in need of refreshing. They could use a renovation in the whole spa and gym area.
