This is a tremendous 5* hotel with stunning sea views. As an international hotel, in some ways you could be anywhere. But there was a saints day during our stay that the hotel marked by bringing a small gift and explanatory note to each room, which I thought added a nice Valencian touch. The staff are lovely and everything is very well kept here. Special mention should go to the superb yet unobtrusive housekeeping team who service the rooms several times a day. The hotel is located close to the Marina, which is some way out of the city centre, but there is extensive public transport and it's cheap, clean and easy to use.

Fab hotel, great location with easy access to beach, bars and restaurants. Stayed for short holiday - July 26, family of four (2 older teenage boys). Room - good size / decor / bed / storage / shower etc, overlooked road but we knew before booking - no noise and didn’t impact holiday at all. Bar / reception - great service from arrival / good selection of drinks and the staff were fab, attentive and friendly. Inside area was lovely (air con worked well), as was the outside seating area overlooking the water features. Slightly expensive for drinks but again expected. Restaurant/ Breakfast - didn’t use Pool area - 2 outside pools (ground level is the kids pool) and 1 inside - good pools although no balls / inflatables which tbh was quite relaxing. Pool bar / service good but didn’t use ‘Blue restaurant’ Gym / spa - Both boys used gym (24/7 I think) and loved it - good selection of equipment etc. we didn’t use Spa but looked lovely. Overall a great time and near enough to some very good restaurants and bars along beachfront and near harbour. Slightly out of town but Uber and taxis very reasonable - didn’t use bus or cycle hire from hotel. Highly recommend if looking for a relaxing, well deserved break with comfort 😊

One of the worst five-star hotel experiences I have ever had This was far from a five-star experience. Despite being a Sterling member of The Leading Hotels of the World, my membership was not linked to the reservation, and breakfast benefits were denied. Check-in was at 3:00 PM, but we did not receive our room until 3:40 PM due to a “problem with the side table.” At the pool, towels were unavailable and service was extremely slow. When my fiancée asked for ice for her water, the server rudely asked, “Why do you want water? What for?” The complimentary spa session was equally disappointing. Instructions were unclear, staff were dismissive, and when I requested a second towel, the employee argued instead of simply providing one. The room felt outdated, the shower did not drain properly, and the appliances appeared poorly maintained. At checkout, our key stopped working despite having confirmed late checkout the night before. We were never told that the key needed to be reactivated at reception. Throughout the stay, staff often seemed more interested in talking among themselves than assisting guests. For a hotel presenting itself as five-star and belonging to The Leading Hotels of the World, the service was shockingly poor. I would not recommend Hotel Las Arenas to anyone expecting a luxury experience.

Las Arenas has 5* pretensions and 5* prices for room, meals and drinks (Cappuccino 8 euros. Elsewhere city average E2.60), but not up to scratch. Smallish rooms. Not much storage. Aircon on so room was freezing, or off, so hot.. thermostat didn't work despite being checked by engineer. One armchair, so one of you has to lie on bed to read. Shampoo and soap not as nice as many hotels. Breakfast - Good choice, but fried eggs cooked en mass, so cold and often congealed and bacon so overcooked it shattered like glass if you tried to cut it. We cannot compare with other hotels in Spain, but by international standard well short of the mark, at excessive prices. On the good side the room service staff were all excellent - friendly and helpful if you wanted something like another water. Hotel was spotlessly clean. Good for buses 32 across street or 95 near Hotel Neptune, 5 minutes away (not as per Google maps), which get you to all the tourist sites. Get a Suma card and travel is very cheap. Lots of restaurants around. La Cabanyita was our favourite

Not too sure about this place. Its down as a 5 star the rooms are more 4 star with a touch of expensive designer hand-wash. Went with a group of friends, drinks were london prices vs the center of valencia where they are a third of the price (Athena skybar is highly recommend). Olives and snacks with the drinks was a nice treat, also serve gluten free beer which is a big plus. Couple of callouts: - no ballgames in the pool, its a rule. Lifeguard was great stating that but getting our fun go ahead. Then came back and said we had to stop.. with a relatively empty pool - all the pools outside the spa are not heated - spa is amazing, but paid for above the room at 27EUR - location is on the beach, in retrospect would have preferred a few days here then a few in the city. Cabs back and fourth are cheap but the vine is naturally completely different - the pool has the best seats reserved for the suit rooms, even when there was no space these weren't made available. We were asked to park ourselves on the solarium on the rooftop which would have been fun... we decided not to take the risk - safe area, no issues. Was walking around early 3 am with no issues - on the last point we winded back at the hotel and ordered some takeout. Decided to continue the chat in the lobby whilst we ate and were promptly told the lobby isnt a restaurant... at 3 am, when empty. So we took the food up and I bet our neighbouring rooms loved the noise!

I really enjoyed my stay here. Great location where you can enjoy the pool or nip down to the beach. Loads of restaurants nearby too. My only complaint was the poolside food was really very poor. I would give that a one star. Worst quality I have had in years. Five star pricing for food a 10 year old would do better preparing. The hotel needs to do a massive correction in this area Breakfast was good. We did the bbq grill one night which was tasty. Service overall excellent, very friendly and accommodating staff. I will return and encourage others to do so too. But I won’t be spending money poolside.

Fantastic hotel great service! The rooms were really big and the hotel and rooms very clean. Service great and fab breakfast. Our flight was hours after check out and could use the pool and facilities and You can book a cabin with a shower and toilet to change when you need to leave which was a great touch. Also great location by the beach with lots of places to eat and explore. There are great bus links to old town from just outside which we used a lot. Would definitely stay again.

We absolutely loved our stay at Las Arenas Balneario Resort! This property perfectly balances luxury with a truly welcoming atmosphere, making it a spectacular choice for a getaway in Valencia.
