Hello Sue, and thank you for your feedback. I'm glad you liked the golf course and enjoyed playing. I hope you placed very well. Regarding our restaurant and bar service, I'm sorry you left with that impression. However, I must tell you that it's very difficult to serve 80 people playing in the tournament, especially since we don't know if they'll be having lunch or dinner because they haven't made reservations. The influx of so many people at once causes these delays. I promise the organizer that we will establish a schedule and reservation system next year so that we can serve you better and you can enjoy all our services. Thank you for your visit. Hello and thank you so much for that comment, from those two young couples, I'd say... We're delighted to see that you enjoyed your stay, our commitment to sustainability, the turtles, and all the recycled materials we use. Thanks again, and I hope you'll come back soon to see more of the projects we're working on. Best regards! Francisco Contreras Manager

Hello, and I'm very sorry you left with that impression. We couldn't offer you that late check-out because your room type was reserved, and guests could arrive at any time. We offered you the option to stay on the premises, go to the beach, the pool, shower afterward in the spa changing rooms, and store your luggage. All of this is to be very considerate of our guests, as my staff always are, especially if they are Amigos of Paradores like yourself. I'm sure you wouldn't be pleased upon arrival if your room wasn't ready because we had to let another guest stay for two more hours. Thank you for your visit, and we hope to see you again. The hotel has its own Restaurant and Bar, plus a Cafe and Snack bar, so you can eat without leaving. Nearby along Avinguda dels Pinars are SANCA'S GASTRO & SKY BAR, RESTAURANTE CA TERESA, and CA PEPE, all a short walk from the hotel. For seafood, try RESTAURANTE LEO on Carrer del Embarcadero. On the beach, you'll find ARROCERÍA DUNA and Restaurante Dehesa El Saler serving Valencian cuisine. For rice dishes, head to the nearby village of El Palmar and try ARROCERÍA EL REK or Restaurante Nou Racó.
The hotel sits between the Albufera Natural Park and the Mediterranean, surrounded by dunes, pine forest, and the Parador's golf course. A walkway leads to the beach, which stretches toward Valencia's port. The area is quiet and natural, with trails like the Natursenda and the Gola del Pujol route for exploring. The hotel's own bar, cafe, restaurant, and snack bar are on site. Valencia's main sights, such as the Oceanogràfic and the City of Arts and Sciences, are about 15 km away, so plan a trip for those.
From Valencia airport, take the V-30 towards the port, then the CV-500 to El Saler. From the main train station, the fastest way is a taxi or ride-hailing, about 18 kilometers. Both routes pass by the Devesa, with the hotel entrance on Avinguda dels Pinars. If you prefer public transport, EMT bus lines 24 or 25 connect the Natural Park area with Valencia city center, though you will need to check the nearest stop and walk from there. The drive is straightforward and well signposted from the airport, Madrid, or Barcelona.
For a quiet evening, the hotel's own Bar, Cafe, Restaurant and Snack bar are right on site, with views over the park and sea. A sunset stroll through the nearby dunes and pine forest is a lovely way to unwind. For a livelier evening, Valencia's Cathedral (18.3 km) and Central Market (18.2 km) area have plenty of restaurants and bars; a taxi or ride-hailing trip takes you into the old town. The Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias (15.5 km) also has evening dining and lounges. Keep it simple and easy: enjoy the calm here, then venture in for the city vibe.
The Parador de El Saler sits in the Albufera Natural Park, right between the beach and pine forest, so it's a fantastic base for nature lovers. However, Valencia's main sights are a drive away: Oceanogràfic València is 15.2 km, the Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias is 15.5 km, and the Central Market of Valencia is 18.2 km. You'll need a car, taxi, or the bus to reach them comfortably. The hotel itself offers calm and easy beach access, perfect for relaxing between city trips. A direct cycle path from the City of Arts and Sciences also connects you to the park for a scenic ride. So, it works best if you have transportation and want a peaceful, green retreat rather than a central, walkable location.
