My boyfriend and I had an amazing experience staying at the Wedgewood recently! It was a standout highlight of our trip, which was already pretty great. What stood out to us the most was the staff. They are extremely attentive, courteous, and friendly. We especially enjoyed chatting with Ryan at the front desk and getting restaurant recs from Matt since we are big foodies. The staff also very kindly helped me out by giving me an extra bottle of distilled water they happened to have so I could use it for my sleep apnea machine. Rooms were lovely, clean, and comfortable. I am very picky about beds and the ones here are excellent! Nice touches around the hotel including fun decor and free “spa water” in the lobby - water infused with cut fruit and sometimes mint. We tried the afternoon tea experience at bacchus, the restaurant in the hotel and loved that too! Worth checking out, especially for a special occasion. Can’t wait to visit again! This was our first time in Vancouver and the wedgewood made it very special

The Wedgewood is everything a great hotel should be and almost nothing you can find anywhere else. It’s a true gem! Our deluxe suite had a balcony that looked over the beautiful Robson Square. The suite was spacious, thoughtfully appointed, beautifully decorated with engravings and an oil painting with hunting theme and felt like a private estate home rather than a hotel room. Bacchus is extraordinary. Breakfast there every morning was a genuine pleasure — unhurried and delicious. The vibe was so inviting, uplifting and relaxing. But the heart of the Wedgewood experience is its people. Melvin Ky, Chef Concierge, is simply exceptional. He sent us to a Kipling-inspired speakeasy with a passphrase, arranged a surprise that made my dearest friend feel genuinely celebrated, and responded to every request with warmth, taste, and quiet brilliance. The front desk team matched him at every turn — gracious, attentive, and genuinely present. This hotel has soul. I cannot wait to return to it!

Our stay was absolutely lovely, and the level of service made it even more special. Denis from the valet and concierge team deserves a special mention for being so attentive, friendly, and helpful. He made everything feel effortless and always greeted us with genuine warmth. His outstanding service left a lasting impression on us, and we would happily return!

Words simply cannot express how exquisite and wonderful this hotel is. From the moment that we arrived for a special celebratory birthday, we received such a warm welcome that felt like we were coming home. The concierge chaps and all of the reception staff were fabulous as were the servers at breakfast and in the bar in the evening. The accommodation was so comfortable and very well equipped - and it felt so luxurious! The breakfast was delicious too not to mention the addictive evening popcorn snacks in the bar! Thank you all so much for the most wonderful stay - it will be in our memories for ever!

Amazing! From the minute I exited my Uber upon arrival to the minute I left I felt the royal treatment. Everyone was super friendly and I could not fault anything. The L’Occitane amenities (may favourite) made me smile!

We stayed at the Wedgwood twice, at the beginning and end of our trip. It is definitely a special place. The rooms were beautifully furnished and supremely comfortable. The pillows were like marshmallows. The service impeccable. We ate in the restaurant twice and again the staff were perfection. Welcoming. friendly and efficient all at the same time. The food was good too. We would definitely stay again if we find ourselves in Vancouver.

I really like this hotel. Been there several time now. Usually just short stays 1-2 nights. It is very quaint (not a big hotel) with old world charm. Great service. Nice bar and restaurant. Only negative is parking - expensive (70$/day) and valet only (I would rather park my own car).

Our three day stay at the Wedgewood was without question one of the best hotel experiences we have ever had. The thing that most impressed us is that literally every staff interaction we had was outstanding. All were friendly and professional, and were obviously aiming to give best service possible. It’s hard to single anyone out, but David and Ryan at the front desk were amazing and Jesse, one of the bartenders is a gem.|You can’t beat the hotel’s central location, and it’s small enough to offer a more intimate experience than one of the huge hotels. we will definitely be back.
