This hotel is great for those taking train since it’s just walking distance. However the reception is pretty rude.. when we came one girl mentioned it’s 9 Euro tax to be paid upon check out then on the check out another rude Italian guy said it was 14 euro and we only had 10. They do not accept card. We had to rush to convert money from another hotel nearby and we had a train to catch within 10 minutes. It was 7.30am and most of the shops were closed. My husband went to find the hotel he recommended to change money and I told this guy I’ll start walking towards the train station and to inform my husband. His luggage was still there but this guy started saying he will call the Police if I leave. Seriously is this how you treat your guests? He is on the morning shift on 23 Oct 2024. Tall guy with black/brown hair. Please don’t keep people like him who will ruin your business. Thanks to him he left a bitter taste to our wonderful trip to Venice.

Maybe it used to be a “Belle Epoque” hotel. Now it’s simply run down, dirty and smelly. The pictures on the website are fake or at least wittily selected. Our room was very old, the carpet was full of stains, it smelled like mildew and the bathroom had black Mould on the ceiling. The shower was falling apart and there wasn’t even hot water. We paid a lot of money since we stayed during the Carnival weekend. The only good things were mini pain au chocolate for breakfast and the courteous staff.

The staff were really kind to me and even made me food because I was leaving early. The hotel is in an ideal location. The breakfast were just fine. The rooms are a bit shabby but that is reflected in the price it is a 3 star hotel not the ritz. Again the staff were most helpful.

Honestly the hotel room is one of the smallest I have ever stayed in, but I booked really late. There are definitely better rooms in the hotel. But for all said, the room was neat and clean and comfortable for a solo traveler. Breakfast was nice with croissants, home made cakes, breads, coffee and juices. The location is very convenient, it's right beside the station so no hauling your luggage across the bridges or dragging your luggage through cobblestone paths. Though I did have to carry up my luggage to the 2nd floor as the lift wasn't available. The service was simple and polite. The stay could have been better but I have no complaints for my short stay of 2 nights.

I had doubts about the hotel after I read some negative reviews. However, the staff has made quite some changes and these are not relevant anymore! Yes, rooms seem to be old and quite warm, but this is Venice and all buildings are several centuries old. Breakfast was quite good with good quality and abundance. Food was also restocked all the time. Biggest advantage is the location as it is literally 2 min away from the station, offers good connection to Vaporetto. In addition, there is a good supermarket next door which saved us multiple times as restaurants in Venice are of poor quality and have high prices. We were also allowed to store our luggage on a safe spot in the hotel for several hours after check out. Only drawback is that we again needed to pay city tax cash only, but got an explanation that it is because they do not want to pay a commission for small transactions. P.S. They give you a card for reduced price in a restaurant nearby. However, we did not take advantage as the restaurant seemed to have quite controversial reviews and did not look nice.

The hotel is in a good location and close to the station. Some of the staff are nice, especially the young man on night shift. Our initial room had huge stains on the carpet. Our window broke on our second night and wouldn’t close. We were told the hotel was full and that we had to move to the only available room. In the new room, the mattress was very dirty, the bathroom door had brown streaks on it, and the bathroom smelled strongly of urine. The smell travelled to the bedroom. We advised the reception staff the next morning that our room was very dirty. We did not receive an apology. Our room was cleaned but staff refused to discuss a partial refund. We were advised to email them. They did not respond to our email. The hotel is very run down. Despite its location there are surely better options.

I used to stay in this hotel and it was a mixed experience, the location is obviously perfect, but the room is not that good. We had to change twice because they put us in a room right next to a bar or restaurant and the guests were chatting right under our room window until 2 am or even later. It was not really possible to sleep until quite late. And second room was not that better due to the loud air conditioner noise which can not be turned off. I feel it was a pity but I avoided this hotel the next time we booked. The breakfast was ok.

Great location and high potential of hotel if it is maintained well Liked · We liked the safe and close location of this hotel. The people manning the reception were friendly and nice. Try to get a quieter room if possible as the surroundings are noisy. The breakfast was superb and operated by active staff. AC worked well. Disliked · This hotel needs maintenance. Our room 208 the keys were not working on the door lock sometimes ( lock gets jammed). While we were staying they got a locksmith to fix it but it did not work. The telephone line in our room was one way, reception could not hear our voice. Some furniture was broken and bed was shaky. Also there were mosquitoes in the room, no idea where there were entering the room.
