The hotel is located within short distance to the train station, which was so pleasant. We were able to check in early around noon. The room is clean and the bathroom is modern. The heated towel rack is a life saver. We didn't get a canal facing room but the interior room was spacious and quiet. Strong Wi-Fi throughout. Highly recommend. Breakfast is included in my package. But food and coffee are already running out 1 hour before cut off time. Courtesy note: sitting outside on the patio enjoying breakfast sounds great but you need to content with the Venetian Air Force!

This hotel was excellent for the price!! It is right on the water, was very clean and beautiful in the inside. Has a great view of the water. The breakfast wasn’t that good but there were a bunch of restaurants on the strip that made up for it. They even let us check in very early to get ready for our excursion. No complaints at all. Beautiful hotel! It is a 3 minute walk to the public water bus that you use to get around Venice. Perfect location!

This was one of the most expensive hotel we have paid for during our Italy trip but the one with the worst check-in experience. As we saw reviews on Google that luggage has been stolen before with no camera to track, we wanted to lock our 2 luggages together for storage as the room was not ready. But the hotel staff became really defensive and did not allow us to do so, claiming that it’s difficult for him to handle for storage. The hotel even provided a slip that hotel declines all responsibilities of baggages. They do not want to bear responsibilities yet did not allow us to take basic precautions with our belongings. After sometimes debating with the reception and the staff, they finally allowed us to do so but gave really black faces even when we try to take picture of our luggages in the lobby. Upon returning from our long day of walk, the positive note is that the reception and the staff handling our luggages have a much more positive attitude and were more helpful. There were a lot of small stairs to our room so the staff assisted with the luggages. The main good thing is that this hotel is really near to Venezia Santa Lucia station and you do not need to carry luggages for a long distance across bridges. Facility is actually quite old and basic but at least clean. Breakfast view next to canal is good. Recommend for a short 1 night stay at Venice but we will likely not return again.

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Principe. The location is absolutely perfect — just a short walk from Santa Lucia train station and very convenient for exploring Venice. The hotel has a beautiful Venetian atmosphere, elegant interiors and a lovely view of the Grand Canal. Our room was clean, comfortable and nicely decorated. The staff were friendly, professional and very helpful throughout our stay. We also really enjoyed the breakfast, especially being able to start the day in such a beautiful setting. Overall, a fantastic experience and a hotel we would happily choose again on our next visit to Venice. Highly recommended!

Great hotel when staying in Venice. We had a room with a balcony and it was definitely worth it. The rooms are small yet adequate. We'd definitely stay again since it's close to the train station and water taxi's. Great restaurants near by and small grocery store.

Pros: Very good location. Only 3 min walking from the train station. Overall staffs are friendly and willing to help. Quiet location and close to Ferrovia ferry. Cons: The two bedroom we stay is small but has a big bathroom. The hot water for the bathtub takes more than 5 min to become hot. The bed and pillow are somewhat soft. The breakfast is for the minimum need. Given its great location, I accept the poor variety of foods they serve in the morning. Overall, I recommend this hotel. The location worth for everything.

Two kinds of rooms and two kinds of hospitality. At the beginning of my stay, I experienced a rather cold welcome and was assigned an old room, which gave me the impression that this was not a four-star hotel. I requested a room change, and the following day the manager was able to offer me a completely different room: renovated, larger, and much more comfortable. I truly appreciated it. The gentleman with the beard at the reception was incredibly kind and welcoming. His smile completely changed my mood. I would also like to mention the gentleman who helped with the luggage. He was so cheerful and communicative that, thanks to these two people, I am giving this hotel a much higher rating. At breakfast, all the staff were professional and attentive. Not only the surroundings but, above all, the people make the difference. Thank you to everyone who chooses to embrace this mission every day, with every single guest.

Great location. Rooms are clean, shower amazing. Only downfall is you have to use your key card to maintain power, so if you have devices charging it will disrupt them. The soap in the shower should be upgraded to separate the shampoo and body wash. It doesnt clean your hair well. If you have a do not disturb on your door, they will still disrupt you. The breakfast is the best part that it is included.
