Really good value for money, well located in Wanaka, clean, well run, the staff were very knowledgeable on the local area and helped with daily activity ideas. The rooms were a little on the small side, bathrooms nice clean, kitchen was cleaned and well stocked. Overall good value for money and Wanaka is a great place to stay.

The location is excellent—the lake and the supermarket are both within a 5-minute walk. The kitchen is on the smaller side but is clean and fully equipped. There is also a computer area available for use. However, I found quite a few hairs on the bedsheets and duvet. Apart from that, the overall stay was quite pleasant.

Good hostel in Wanaka. The beds were comfortable and the check in went smoothly. The bathroom was clean however some back-up toilet rolls would have been cool as we ran out during the night. Within 5min you're in town. Although the kitchen was well stocked the design of it made it quite hard to cook with so many people. I can recommend this place to anyone looking for somewhere to sleep in Wanaka

A masterclass in short-term greed over basic common sense. I’ve been a frequent guest here, but this stay was my last. Needed to shift my booking by just one day due to a schedule change. Checked their availability beforehand—plenty of identical rooms open. When I called them, they flat-out told me that I would "just have to waste that night. Brilliant business strategy: squeeze one extra night out of a returning guest to lose dozens of future bookings. Even Haka allows date changes when rooms are available, but clearly, basic customer logic is too complex a concept here. Enjoy that single extra night's revenue—it's the last dollar you'll ever see from me and anyone I know.

I had an amazing experience at the Adventure Wanaka Hostel, the staff were super friendly and accomodating, the kitchen is modern and clean, and the rooms are kept tidy and plenty of storage space under the bed. There's two lounge rooms, one with a tv and one with computers and board games. I also loved that they provide you with towels at no extra fee. Its in a great location, walking distance to the local grocery store and to the lake. I've stayed in a few hostels but this one has definitely left an impact, it has a great vibe even with people constantly coming and going its really easy to make friends.

Adventure Wānaka is such a fun and unique hostel! The rooms and storage are spacious, and the kitchen and bathrooms were quite clean. Staff were very friendly, and the communal spaces felt very cozy! Plus, close to shops, cafes, and the lake but not in a noisy area, either! Will definitely be back next time I'm in the area!

Beautiful hostel in a central location in Wanaka. The kitchen is good. The PS4 added flavor to my children's trip; it was their favorite hostel of all our holidays.
