We stayed in a two bed apartment for a night during our road trip in March. The hotel complex is situated in a residential area on the outskirts of town, not right in the heart of things and a little far for us oldies to walk to the lake although youngsters would likely manage it fine! The apartment was very spacious, clean and modern and well appointed with everything you could need including a garage with washing machine and tumble drier. Excellent parking right outside and a nice patio leading onto the shared garden.

Recently stayed here at the Alpine Resort and had previously stayed here a number of times over the years. Awesome place with great facilities, excellent for young children with many activities to get involved with. We had an amazing spacious 3 bedroom apartment this time over looking one of the pools with views to lake Wanaka and the surrounding mountains. But this review is more based on cleaning not up to standard as it should be when you are paying over $400 a night. Went to use the oven and had dirty foil on oven tray with a greasy mess under it, so gave that a miss. Main rubbish bin was hard to use without shoes as the foot piece was gone and just a narrow metal piece. The 2 bathroom fan heaters were covered in dust that haven't been cleaned in a while, with the slight smell of burning dust can be a fire risk if left on. One fan sounded like it was broken with a clicking noise from the blades when on. Also the ceiling vents in bathrooms were rather dirty and dusty and needed a good clean. This resort is a 5 star every time with the great location and facilities. But the cleanliness in a few important places let you down this time for a 3 star. Thanks

The place was quite dirty, specifically the bathroom and the shower. They had mold on the walls and floor. The appliances were very noisy, especially the refrigerator and washing machine. Additionally, the exhaust fan was not functioning. The towels were not replaced, and there was no shampoo or soap provided. Furthermore, there was no toilet paper left either.

Fantastic place. We had a 2 bedroom apartment with living room (2 sofas) and full kitchen. Washing machine and a drier. A patio with chairs and table, big bathroom, great shower, heated towel rail. Views from main bedroom and living room to the mountains and lake. Netflix on the large TV. This was a perfect stop off on a long road trip of the South Island. Wish we’d had more than just 2 nights here. Can’t believe what great value this was. We had a ground floor room so you do get a little noise from above (didn’t affect us) but you can request a 2nd floor apartment. I’d definitely recommend it, so much space and everything looked new. Great staff too. Wanaka is a nice little town. Eat at Big Fig for super fresh cooked food.

Very convenient for our snowboarding trip, lovely space - very clean. Played some ping pong and used the spa in the off mountain time. Short drive to Wanaka to try the various foods and touristy sites.

We stayed here in unit 2a, it was so spacious, and had everything we needed |Unit was so big, was clean and tidy. Very quiet despite it being a very busy weekend in Wanaka. Heaps of plates cups etc. |staff at reception we lovely and nothing was a problem |Having your own garage is a definite plus and fitted out suv in well. |We loved it so much we have booked again for next year already! |There was also a spa, pool and gym, and although I didn’t use them I will next time!

Loved our stay here. Nice spacious rooms with modern facilities, and some fun treats for the kids like the hot tubs and games tables. Staff were excellent and super accommodating when we needed to change our booking dates due to bad weather. Great value overall.
