Overall was a great stayed. Walked in the hotel right hand side was a bar. Also a restaurant on the main floor. The hotel offered valet parking for a fee. (Shop around for parking near by) I picked this hote was walkable and near by Foggy Bottom Metro station very convenient. Uber took about fifteen minutes to Washington DC museum area. Check in was very efficient. Unfortunately we got in some issues regarding for this booking. Long story short, a manager Mahmoud C was very patient and professional to resolve the issues for us. It was not what we wanted but there was no other better choice. We only stayed one night in The Melrose Georgetown Hotel. The room was spacious and well maintained. It was very comfortable.

We stayed at this hotel for four nights for my child’s school move-in, and overall, we were quite satisfied with our stay. We didn’t have much time to visit many attractions on this trip, but the location was very convenient, with easy access to places like the White House by Uber or Metro. The beautiful, classic-style lobby was especially charming. Since it is an older hotel, the room wasn’t exceptionally modern or pristine, but it was cozy and comfortable. The staff at the breakfast restaurant were incredibly friendly and helped us start each morning on a bright and cheerful note. A special thanks to Sofiane, whose wonderful sense of humor and warm hospitality made our stay even more enjoyable. Thank you for making our trip such a pleasant one!

The location and service were impeccable. Gym was decent. The rooms… they were filthy. It makes no sense that this is a 4.2 on maps when it clearly should be at a 3.5 with the cleanliness of the room. Many cigarette burns on walls and rug. We requested sheets for the pull out couch and they never brought it. There were mysterious yellow stains all over the place and the elevator was down (there’s only 1 operating for the whole hotel). If it weren’t for the great staff and location, this would’ve been a complete waste.

I really appreciated that she spoke French; she helped ensure I had a wonderful visit to Washington. Discreet yet efficient, she understood my needs perfectly and has made me want to return to your hotel for a future stay.

What a wonderful hotel! The room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The staff's professionalism and friendliness truly stood out. I would like to single out Jermaine, who went out of his way to park and retrieve my car and chat with me. He's a star. In terms of improvements, I would suggest three minor ways my stay would have been enhanced: I would have benefited from a wall-mounted swing-arm makeup mirror, a multi-port USB charging dock station, and decaffeinated coffee in the lobby. (Even instant packets would be an improvement on nothing.) Thank you for a most enjoyable stay!

First the good things: Very friendly staff, nice lobby, great drinks in the bar, spacious bedrooms.|However - the bathrooms are very small and do not have any towel racks (which is ridiculous). Unfortunately, the hotel is not very close to restaurants so, if the weather is bad, you might be forced to eat in the hotel restaurant. The food was good, but it is very overpriced. $30 for two eggs, home fries, bacon. The whiskey French toast ($24) was very tasty.|Also, my wife and I had to leave a day early due to an emergency at home and the hotel would not consider a refund for the unused day.

What a wonderful find right in Georgetown/Washington D.C. The hotel is in a historic building, which gives it a lot of charm. The room are very clean and functional. One nice feature is that the windows open. The floorplans are spacious and very functional. The staff was the best. Everyone was so friendly and accommodating. I'll definitely be back.
